Dull, grubby and brown
Rondawanderer (London, United Kingdom) on Jan 30, 2023
From a lukewarm front desk through to an all-brown, spacious but dingy room, this hotel provided nothing more than a convenient place to stay. The pool was uninviting - not cleaned throughout our stay. Other facilities were limited. The bedrooms had poor quality plastic beakers rather than glasses, and a fridge that was totally empty - not even water. The towels and bed linen were only moderate quality. Fortunately, the nearby shopping areas provided good restaurants and shopping. On the last morning the hot water failed. I was promised I would be informed about a rebate and I am still waiting.
Not family frendly anymore
Dave A (Loves Park, Illinois) on Jan 30, 2023
I know the hurricane has made things rough, but we were told everything was open at this hotel when we booked it, and that was a lie. The lazy river is closed, the slides are closed, and the beach is closed. The staff at the towel station for the pool were angry and rude. They allowed a group to close the only pool in the middle of the day. We went to throw away our water bottles by the cook station, and the chef yelled at us, saying we were cross-contaminating the garbage that was already there. I understand the hurricane problems, but this hotel has lost it's charm. I would like to compliment the front desk, room service staff, and the cleaning service for staying positive and always nice. Good luck in the future and I hope you figure this mess out.
