This is our second time at the pacific monarch and it suits us perfectly. 1 block back from the beach, right in front of the central part of Waikiki Beach. A two minute walk. We stayed in the penthouse this trip and the 29th floor last trip. We had a 1 bedroom with Seaviews. Yes the Delores dated, but not enough to put you off your holiday. Christieann also known as "Sunshine" on the front desk is so helpful and always smiling.

I’m so appreciative of this lady who works the front desk at this property Pacific Monarch Hotel ChristieAnn Mills. Being the season is dreadfully humid and conditions aren’t favorable you try to make the best of things as a team! When you’re unexpectedly forced to work along side of a front desk coworker whom ignored several guest and proceeded to unprofessionally speak! You really need to question yourself about where you chose to spend your business or pleasure trips!!! I witness an unsightly matter here with Ms. Kathy (front desk attendee) and her unpleasant tone with rude body n facial language! That’s an absolute No-No! You’re in HOSPITALITY. We serve to service! Ms. ChristieAnn tried to assist these Japanese tourist but they weren’t satisfied with the question they (guest) were asking so pleasantly Ms. ChristieAnn asked her ( Kathy) Co Worker again to assist, with me starring right at her, again rude facial gesture of “rolling her eyes” she proceed to address those Japanese guest!!! Seriously. So, unfortunate and unprofessional. When I checked in I was pleased Ms. ChristieAnn assisted me and gave me some Hawaiian Hospitality. Keiko also assisted me with my stay. These 2 women are recognized as A class and should hold better positions. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to Thank Ms. ChristieAnn and wanted to say you’re always welcomed at Ho’olei at The Grand Wailea Waldorf Astoria Resort. I’m pleased to have stayed here and will look forward for another time with Pacific Monarch. Thank you Christie hope your days will be better ones and those whom only speak the language and don’t have the heart of conversing shouldn’t be in the SERVICE industry! That’s a FACT! Nancy
