Hotel needs better maintenance
Sunshine67671331170 on Sep 01, 2024
We have been to this hotel before and this was the worst experience of the 3 times we have visited in the past. Too many issues with the room, toilet handle was broken, door lock didn’t work, chrome cast connection didn’t work, smoke detector went off accusing us of smoking (when don’t smoke). Most of the staff were friendly and service was decent but I feel the operation needs to be better. All these items could have been avoided with better maintenance of the rooms and a more through inspection of the rooms. We really enjoy the location being a block away from the beach but with all the issues this time we will try the hotels down the block next time.

Just returned from 4 glorious nights at Alohilani Resort. We arrived several hours ahead of the normal check in time to a very short line, maybe one other person in front of us at 11am. No issues arriving early, they found us a 30th floor room with a partial ocean view sitting over the pool. Stunning view! Everyone we ran into from the hotel definitely gave the aloha vibe. I see other reviews talking of crowds and screaming kids, yeah, didn't experience any of that. Great location, super walkable. Clean, modern, beautiful. I plan to return. Mahalo.
