Cannot beat the location, especially in the beachside tower. Walk across the street, jump in the beautiful ocean. Bliss. And the staff was wonderful, truly wonderful across the board (except the sleazy time share people who make up the entirety of their concierge desk) - Now real talk kids: The lobby is deceptively luxurious and grandiose which in turn sets up the massive disappointment waiting for you once you enter any of the decades old rooms with the filthy musty carpet, broken mirrors, pealing wallpaper, stained molding, lack of bathroom ventilation, the absence of a fridge, and the wretched stench of sewage throughout the entire 5th floor. This place is a 5 star resort (but for Mold!) You cannot simply redo a lobby and make a nice looking pool deck and call yourself a 5 star resort. Not to mention the subpar breakfast and dinner offerings that feel more like a cheap airport lounge than the advertised experience. I look forward to visiting sometime in the future when you spend the time and yes, the money, required to bring your property up to the standard of an Amex Hotel Collection 5 Star resort.

Ku’ulei is a wonderful ambassador for the Swell Bar and Pool space at the Alohilani Hotel. She is personable and efficient in her work for the patrons. I can’t say enough about her abilities. She is one that could grow in this business to the top.

I stayed on the 27th floor Clarissa was amazing with my housekeeping needs she gave outstanding service . The drink and food on the 5th floor was great as well

Ku’viei, looked after us brilliantly she was so pleasant and couldn’t do enough for us, she made fantastic recommendations for our stay in Waikiki.

Ku’ulei was such an amazing waitress during our stay. She was so attentive, quick and kind. Made our stay that much more personable.
