When staying at the Alohilani , be sure to treat yourself to a bite to eat and or a drink or 2 at the Swell restaurant and be taken care of by Staff member Crystal. Crystal has the most beautiful personality with such fantastic customer service. Highly recommend….

We LOVE this hotel! Came for a staycation and are so thrilled we did. The aquarium in the lobby is magnificent. The pool is rather small, but the pool deck area is lovely. It's a terrific location, just a couple of blocks from Kapiolani Park and the Honolulu Zoo, and across the street from the best strip of Waikiki Beach where you can either swim in a protected lagoon or surf. Close to all kinds of shops and restaurants. Best feature of all, according to 11 yo twin boys? The recreation deck on the 9th floor - a huge outdoor area with two tennis courts, 2 basketball hoops, a batting cage and outdoor gym. Our kids were there playing all the time! Also a nice gym/ fitness center inside. We also loved the Longboard Club for breakfast every morning and beer/ wine and appetizers as well as made to order Asian noodles or pasta every night. Service was outstanding. Special shout out to Anson, chef William, and Julie in the Longboard Club who took such good care of us. Room is a good size and we loved having a lanai (balcony) with outdoor access - so rare these days - and a view of Diamond Head!

Location , atmosphere and room recommend Special thank you to our housekeeper Jinyu, she was the best. Always paid great attention to detail, kept everything stocked and organized, and always greeted us with a smile. Also we got good customer service at the reception.

Beautiful resort hotel, exceptional staff…so pleasant, helpful and friendly. The resort is spotless!! Rooms are beach modern and loads of storage space. Room safe and mini fridge are included. Our room had a table, chairs and couch plus a balcony and chairs outside. Steel Water bottles that can be refilled with fresh water throughout the complex. Cleaning staff always have the room in pristine condition with many soft towels and supplies. Consierge are very helpful too. The fitness room is a little warm but it was also hot when we were there. Pool is great, get there early for a chair but lovely towels for the chairs. Loved this resort and would recommend. Pool bar food was excellent. There’s a MacDonald’s beside the hotel if that’s what you prefer. There’s a ABC store that has fresh fruit, sandwiches, snacks, drinks, souvenirs, etc., off of the room elevators. The hotel location is excellent. Buses, the Trollie, Ubers all available. Meeting places for tour buses also close. Love the Hawaiian people. Kind and so down to earth. They are very proud that they are Hawaiian and don’t belong to anyone…you get what I’m saying? Lol The Canadian dollar is not great but this trip was worth every penny. Will return for sure.
