Visiting from Kentucky

Is a great place. Friendly staff and nice rooms. Only issue we had was the remodeling noise from the next door room. At one point it even caused the fire alarm to go off. Very hard to take naps and read a book.
Heavenly Stay

It was amazing having people around that really cared and having all the conveniences of having a store restaurant and pool at my fingertips. This is my happy place and I loved every minute of my stay.
NO AC, NO TV, Room Service every 3 days, Cockroches, and hidden fees
KeegerAndFamily (Hoquiam, Washington) on Sep 09, 2023
AC, TV Broken. Shower mold. Cockroaches... oh my. So we arrived to find no shuttle service from the airport, so immediately we had to shell out $70 just to get to our room, only to discover that our "All tax and fee included in total" price, did not include an additional $145.47 ammenity fee. You either pay it, or sleep on the street, so I forked over the dough. We finished unpacking our stuff, only to discover the TV, internet, and AC did not work. Front desk apologized and gave us another room, which was great. But at 8pm, we had to pack up, and move again to unpack. In they new room they were doing construction above us from 6am to 11pm, and it sounded like they were dragging a table across the floor all day and night. The curtains in this room were rotten through, and put on backwards to hide the grossness. I wish I could upload a picture to really give you a good clear image of the condition. The shower was full of mold, and the showerhead sprayed the ceiling, so the drywall was sagging. The kitchenette was decent, except for the D- non-stick frying pan, and the pot with no lid. The plates were clean, and the bowls were super tiny. Dead cockroaches on the balcony says it all really. It supposedly had a 7.2/10 rating, but the majority of those must have been pre-covid, because this place was a dive. Motel 6 would be a better choice. The view of the golf course was nice, and we had it all day and night, because as I mentioned the curtains were rotted through. No continental breakfast, even though they charge a $150 amenity fee, but the one in the pictures is actually a pay-restaurant. The full sized sofa bed was a single, and the mattress was like sheet covering a ball of springs. The king size bed frame was broken, and had no box spring. It was just a mattress on wooden slats... broken wooden slats. So not only did we get to hear loud noise all night, but was also got to sleep like we laid a sheet on a riverbed of gravel. The smell of urine from the homeless in the area was particularly bad walking down the street. At the corner was a building that was fenced and boarded, but you definitely did not want to cross at that side of the street. Horrible. For the money we paid, and then the additional money we paid to get a ride there, and then the additional money we paid once we arrived, before unpacking, repacking, and moving rooms, I was super disappointed. (Run on sentence intended.) Hawaii is no longer full of Aloha. :(
3 weeks of stay

Awesome location, pool- and barbecue area. Wonderful staff in the reception. Some rooms really need to be upgraded, the same applies for the air-condition. Seems the higher floor it had the better standard. Cleaning could definitively be better.
Holiday stay.

We had a wonderful stay here, good location and close to the beach and center. The rooms we had were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. This was the third time we stayed in this hotel and we will certainly come back next time.
