After 2years of delays due to covid, we were lucky enough to get to Hawaii and wow, what a hotel and place. Rooms and views were fantastic as were all staff. Staff and all.people in general in Hawaii are so friendly and makes your trip even more memorable. Hope to be back again one day... highly recommend this hotel. Location, perfect on the beach front.
Great location, but issues with plumbing and inconsistent service

A great location on central Waikiki Beach is this hotel's best selling point. We booked an Oceanfront room with a jacuzzi and a fabulous view. I highly recommend the view, the jacuzzi - not so much. It significantly diminished the size of the bedroom area and was very difficult to get into and out of, at least for us older folks. We loved lounging on our patio under the stars while enjoying the music from the outdoor venue below.
We did have a couple of unpleasant experiences during our stay. First, we had two serious plumbing incidents in which bubbles from the jacuzzi in the room above us overflowed out of our toilet. Apparently, the hotel was aware of the plumbing issue, but had not taken any action to resolve it. Second, the customer service was inconsistent. The gentleman who checked us in at the front desk was not at all welcoming or helpful with the COVID-related check-in requirements in effect at the time. However, the housekeeping and pool personnel were friendly, accommodating and attentive, as were the outdoor bar and restaurant servers.
We got a great deal through Trip Advisor Plus, making the hotel a very good value compared to other Waikiki oceanfront hotels. Overall, we would recommend this hotel and will likely return, mostly because of its excellent location and relative value.
