Nice and clean room

We stayed in Room 419 which was specious one bedroom with a beautiful ocean view. Full kitchen with all required kitchen utensils. Also can’t thank Cherie Frost for being so attentive and helpful in such an emergency situation and making an arrangement for our luggage to be delivered to us at the airport while we could not access our hotel room due to road closures.
Mixed experience

Very mixed experience. The location is perfect, if you like being on the beach and close to shops. But the hotel itself is strange. The rooms are vastly different depending on how lucky u are or if you are persistent. Having booked on Priceline, we felt we were at the mercy of the front desk to choose our fate. We asked for a updated room with a view. But got more than we expected. We ended up with a roach motel with dozens of them coming out at night. One was sitting on my wife's toothbrush and I called it after two nights. The next morning one crawled into our bed. They actually put effort in relocating us after I told them it was serious and I wanted a manager not housekeeping. After a morning of trying rooms, we eventually went to a cleaner room and put it behind us. We really appreciate the effort in doing that, but we were shocked at the first room. Then the hotel management changed during our stay, so had difficulties trying to get toiletries to our room. Looking back we probably should have booked directly with the owners, not thru a travel site so we knew what we'd be getting.
