Lovely peaceful rooms. Stunning ocean view. Beautifully maintained property. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. The lobby atrium is a stunning place to relax and enjoy the ocean breezes. The rooms are quite spacious with a lanai to enjoy the ocean view.
A stay to forget, and a hotel to be avoided

I had to truly take time before I decided to write this. As a loyal lifetime Globalist member of the Hyatt rewards program, I have booked a stay for my wife and I for the 7th of March for 5 nights, some work commitments made me change and have my daughter ago with my wife in my place, My wife arrived at the hotel and was not allowed to check in under my status, she was told that I would need to wait to see if she can get a regular room or until I checked-in in person. When she asked for a manager she was told to step out of the line and wait about 5-10 minutes. 30 minutes later, the manager showed up Michelle Niezmen, without acknowledging my wife, when my wife ask her if she is the manager, she lifted her finger in her face to tell her that you will have to wait. I called the 800# to see what is going on, they said they contacted the hotel and she will be fine to check in, another gentleman who said he was a manager as well came out and was apologetic and helped her check-in. I tried to have her put this ordeal behind her and enjoy the time off, the next day I made a VIP seating for her and my daughter for the Luau in the resort, they checked in and got their seating to be told that the Luau is canceled because of a water main brake, and they told that they have to find other place to eat outside in town, after few calls and an Uber ride we found a place to eat. we comeback and still no water. sometimes during the evening while they were left 2 bottles of water for consumption, and assuming for flushing, "very thoughtful". You would have thought a hotel would have offered some compensation to their customers, but absolutely no offer of compensation to your most loyal clients, or they chose to do that only to some. The Luau was supposed to have been rescheduled, when my wife asked, she was told she needed to do that, and they don't have the same seating, but they have seating all the way in the back, but there was no adjustment to the price till she demanded the adjustment. What can I say a tremendous failure in the great customer experience that Hyatt is known for, and lack of training in such what supposed to be world class resort. This experience certainly turned me off and actually canceled a couple of upcoming reservation at Hyatt resorts, disrespect and poor customer service will only lead to the failure.
