Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa would like to share that soon, guests will be able to indulge in the breathtaking views of the new expanded deck at Japengo restaurant with an estimated completion mid-December. To accommodate these changes, the former Grotto Bar area and swim-through cave will be permanently closed.
The Lahaina Pool Deck expansion will be increasing seating on the main pool deck, is currently underway and will be completed late-January 2025. Work will be contained to a small area and will take place daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The majority of the pool facilities will remain fully accessible for guest enjoyment. The hotel team is dedicated to minimizing any inconvenience and ensuring a pleasant experience throughout the guest visit.
All efforts will be made to minimize guest impact during this time.

Amazing location, perfect for families

Amazing stay! Very family friendly, great location, beautiful resort. We traveled with our almost 1 year old and it went smoother than we anticipated. The kids pool was so cool and they had a great infant floaty for purchase that allowed our son to enjoy the pool even though he doesnt swim or walk yet. Our partial ocean view room had amazing views of the mountain and the sounds of the waves were relaxing. We will be back!

We have stayed at this Hyatt close to a dozen time. Yes the contruction is ongoing, but the staff and Karen at the front desk are wonderful and amazing people that will move mountains to make your stay more enjoyable.
