We arrived on Friday Feb 23rd evening for one night, after skiing at Big White Mountain Resort. Upon arriving to our room we noticed live bugs crawling on the wall. (Wel caught a live bug in a specimen container with orange top to show staff). Further investigation noticed dead bugs on floor, window track, on top of vent and mold in heat/air conditioning vent. Called front desk and they were sold out of our room type and offered us two room which we accepted as we were exhausted and had an early flight. We checked the other rooms and they were satisfactory. Took a long time to bring us room keys. Upon checkout the front desk staff communicated "they won't charge us for for the second room!" We voiced our concerns and thought we should not be charged for the second room as we weren't responsible for the bugs or mold. We requested compensation, front desk staff was hesitant and said the best they could do is $30 credit and to contact the general manager on Monday. Very disappointed as the general manager was away until end of week and the staff assigned said she could offer some marriott points. We called the general manager at the end of the week and discussed our situation and he stated he would return our call after investigation. He did NOT return our call. We attempted to call again and manager Kelly called us to offer an additional $70 dollars but only credited $40 to our credit card. The staff does not communicate promptly we are still awaiting a call back, it is insulting to have to request compensation and request not to be charged for the second room and the fact that they rent out dead and live bug rooms is unacceptable. Would not recommend staying here.

I stay at a lot of Marriott properties but this one was a bit off.. not sure if its the water park or the pet friendly hallways, but there was a musky smell in the hallways and rooms. Staff is friendly and location is good as there are many restaurants nearby and its in the middle of downtown and the airport. I have stayed at the H.I.E. next door and probably prefer it... but This Fairfield did have a better breakfast. there is a lot of available parking and the fitness room is quite large with lots of equipment which is nice.

This Marriott Fairfield continues to meet expections!!! The staff is pleasant and efficient- the hotel is immaculate and smells inviting. The rooms are perfectly done and the bedsheets and pillows amazing. We will continue ( and have on numerous occasions) to stay at this Fairfield. The location is close to all the amenties we are visiting Kelowna for.

This is a great hotel in Kelowna. We stayed there with the hockey team traveling for a tournament. The hotel has large clean rooms. Water slide, pool, and a hot tub were abslute favorite places for kids. Fitness center is also very nice and clean. Many restaurants are close by in a walking distance. The only complain adults had were lack of beer in the hotel lobby.

Friendly and welcoming staff. These folks went the extra mile to help us out and find us the best available rate even though they were extremely busy . They took the time to help us sort out a glitch in our third party booking . They genuinely cared to ensure we understood what had happened and then found us a room. The hotel is kept very clean which adds to our being able to relax. The hot breakfast was very good with a variety of items. The kitchen staff were also friendly and ensured their was no delay in getting food out. They were well staffed as there were girl hockey teams staying. There was tons of space and tables available in the breakfast area. Throughout our stay the front desk people would greet us and ask if all was good and if we needed anything . They really did pay attention to us personally and wanted us to have an enjoyable stay. That’s another one of the reasons we had such an enjoyable stay and highly rated this hotel. Lots of easy access parking . The area is safe and the location is great. We highly recommend this hotel if you are wanting to feel refreshed and relaxed in a clean and safe environment after a day out shopping , fun or medical appointments. I should mention although not along this time my grandson loves the water slide . Lots of amenities for adults and kids. This hotel will always be our go to when we have to travel to Kelowna. This is the hotel on Powick street just off highway 97.
