Over priced and long in the tooth. It's about the only game in town and they make sure you are aware of that. They treat their wedding parties better than their guests. The luau is stupid expensive and nothing more than a fashion show hosted by a senior lady. They made us move rooms on our last night and lost my insulin amongst other items. We bought a microwave because they didn't have one available and an employee took it. People can "room hop" from balconies. I almost lost a Google watch from the party happening next to us. We surprised them and they dropped it on the lanai. Spend your money at the Marriot! Or just go to Hilo.
Great location and good value

The room was comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was near the street side of the hotel which was very noisy, starting at about 6:30 every morning. The food and drink was very good and sitting out on that outside patio watching the sunset made it worth every penny. This was my third stay and I will be back next year!
