Terrible.

Tazzsays (Abbotsford, Canada) on Dec 03, 2024

This was the absolute worst place we've ever stayed at in Vegas. We've been to Vegas dozens of times and chose this one, this time, as it was close to Fremont but not 'on Fremont', or so we thought. From the first interaction with check in staff, it was apparent they were not concerned with our stay at all. We were in Vegas to 1/4 mile dragrace. Also part of the reason we chose this property as is was on the right end of Vegas for getting to the track early in the morning. We told the front desk staff this as well. They placed our 2 rooms next to each other, which was appreciated. What we didn't know, nor was it presented to us, is that the music from Fremont (starts at 8 pm) was almost directly beneath our rooms and goes until around 2 am. We can handle some noise of course and would not have considered this a huge issue, if it had been told to us when we checked in. Then we could have made up our own minds and asked for a different room further from the noise. What made this place even more unpleasant (and also wasn't told to us) is that on the Saturday night, there was a rave on the property below our room(next to Fremont) that started at 8pm and went well into the morning. Now rave music is a lot different than the bands playing on Fremont. Rave music is pure base that we could feel IN our bed. We had earplugs at this point from the previous nights loudness and made do. But this rave music was literally in our room all night. How could they not let us know this when we checked in? Why wouldn't they offer is a room on the other side of the property when we checked in? (I don't think it would have made much difference anyway). We clearly were not the 'rave' type and had told them why we were in town. On top of the intense loudness in our room for our 3 night stay, the rooms were marginally cleaned. Our bed was wrinkly after it was apparently made. Which tells us they aren't changing the bedding at all. After requesting 2 more towels (to have 4 total), finally on the last day they gave us 2 more. Our toilet barely flushed as well. The rooms are dark, have all walls and ceiling spackled like an old motel used to be. There was water damage in the bathroom on the walls, doors and baseboards, and extremely poor lighting. All in all a gross experience. The hotel is smoke filled, dirty and we didn't encounter one staff that was helpful or friendly. We would never recommend staying there ever to anyone ever. The valet were lazy and slow as well. There were crackheads flailing about in the lobby, saying rude comments to us as we walked in, and to other guests. The coffee bar was expensive for weak and flavorless coffees that we ordered. It didn't matter what coffee we got, they all tasted the same. I don't believe an Americano was ever prepared. It was weak drip coffee. We asked for sugars and cream on the side one morning as they couldn't seem to get 2 creams 2 sugar right when they prepared it. The sugar must have had less than a 1/4 tsp in each packet and it was like they couldn't part with them and give us enough to make it decent. So incredibly cheap for a 6 dollar cup. All in all it was a terrible experience with nothing we can say that is good. We will obviously never return there and we don't recommend anyone else does either. We will be telling all of our race friends to avoid this place in the spring when we return for racing. -unhappy guests.

Find another Fremont Hotel

Toxic N on Nov 19, 2024

Service here has dropped tremendously. Parked car in parking garage, on way to the elevator the security accused me of loitering and escorted me out the casino even though I explained I was a guest and had a room key. Next day room key wouldn’t work and was stuck in the parking garage, had to argue with the support operator to even let me out of the garage. She kept telling me I needed a valid ticket, I understand that but I’m a hotel guest that gets in & out parking for free and I shouldn’t have to buy a parking ticket. When I returned that day, valet refused to let me park for 2 mins to get another key, since mine wasn’t working I was unable to enter the parking garage, I would need to pay for valet parking… WTF. What a scam. Luckily the casino next door let me park in their drive while I went to get a key. Seems like the D is more interested in having people stay elsewhere than having happy customers. Last time staying here.
