I booked a 5 night stay for a total of $2400. After night one I received an alert from my Chase bank account. Multiple duplicate charges from W Hollywood was charged to my account for a total of over $5000. Although the manager Lena was apologetic and took full responsibility for the mishap. I was livid and concerned that W Hollywood was so careless with my personal checking account.
After the first night stay showering in the morning, there was no showering/bath supplies provided in my room. My room was booked for two yet was only provided one bottle of complimentary water. When I asked house keeping for more complimentary bottlers ofwater. I returned to find one bottle provided.
I’m 60 yrs of age and have stayed in luxury and basic hotels and B&B’s across the US. I would expect for $300 a night basic accommodations and debit card fee’s would be priority. Honestly was disappointed.

Absolute scam artists!! Didn’t clean our rooms, and when I requested for 4th time they left the dirty tray and left bedsheets to make our own bed! Spent over $1100 for two nights. They offered a pathetic compensation which they did not deduct from the bill. Now zero response despite chasing everyday. . Thief’s. Do not stay here. Awful in every way

I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago and enjoyed my overall experience and the room I was in. I wanted to personally give praise to Laura S. (Whatever/Whenever) for her exceptional customer service and commitment to our overall experience staying at the hotel. The people and how they treat you are the things that make you want to come back. Laura S. did that and I'm looking forward to our next stay.

My "poor" review is not based on the hotel as a whole. I frequently stay at W hotels around the country and they are fantastic hotels. The W in Hollywood is a wonderful property in a great location. My issue is that my room was not cleaned at all one day. And other day, the cleaning was subpar at best. I called down to the lobby and spoke with a manger who assured me they would take something meaningful off my bill for the inconvenience. Not only was nothing taken off my bill, but the charge that showed up on my credit card was actually 20 or 30 dollars higher than the final bill I received at checkout which made absolutely no sense. It's not about the money as much as it's about the hotel doing what they told me they would do.
