My necklace and earrings were stolen from my room. Also, if you are traveling for business or an event that is paid for, you still will be charged a daily 'resort' fee, whether you use the offers or not, which was an unwelcome surprise.

What a room and a beautiful view. Everything in the room was wonderful, from the beds to the bathroom. Loved the turn-down service with a goody bag. Only complaint was the food from the restaurant was pretty bland. Heard the same from others.

This is a beautiful property in the heart of a tourist area. I chose it in part because it is directly on top of a metro station, which was super convenient. The lobby was awesome, and the room was pretty nice, with a firm bed, which I appreciate. However, after the first of my two nights, I had to request a new room. My first room was near the elevator, and every couple minutes, all night long, I heard metallic clanking and scraping noises through the walls. This woke me up a few times. The front desk staff and engineer took great care of me; they took me to see (and hear) another room, which I then moved into. The new room was farther from the elevator and had no noise issues. Other than the noise issue, which was resolved, I had a great stay here. The service was top notch! I was impressed with my interactions with Micaela and Jessica(?) at the front desk, as well as Manny from the bell staff. The service was excellent at the restaurant, too, though I didn’t get their names. I didn’t have time to use the pool or gym, but I peeked at both and wish I had had more time!

Very impressive Hollywood hotel in a great location. Room was nice. Solid fitness center. Nice rooftop pool with seasonal bar scene. Happening lobby bar area. The staff was great.

This is one of the good ones in Hotels. Convenient, accessible to Hollywood, courtesy, accommodations and most importantly Staff professionals. Spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day away from home is an experience itself. Spending it here with such a great staff was satisfying and fulfilling. Our room was beautiful with staff constantly checking in to make sure all was good and everything we were expecting. Their working on a holiday didn’t show any sadness as I know I felt sad about working on Christmas. It was a great week and the experience was awesome. The new restaurant was very tasty and well done. Food was great and staff very helpful. Very happy we chose the W and definitely coming back.
