Extremely disappointed with this hotel. For the room rate this should have been clean , updated and well appointed. The from was old, musty, the carpet was sticky and the pool is on top of a parking garage. I would not go back to a Sonesta hotel.

Very nice place to stay. I will come back for another stay later this year. The food was excellent in the Sol restaurant. The pool and sauna was nice. Not completely satisfied with housekeeping. On arrival the bartender was very easy to connect with.

Gladys at the front desk was amazing !! She went above and beyond to make my stay really good ! The bed were not the comfiest but they were beds and did get the job done Also I love the layout and how close it is to the beach ! My son really enjoyed that.

This hotel is in a great location, about 20 - 30 minute drive from LAX, the marina is a great place to visit after a long flight. We only stayed one night, but found the room to be spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend getting out and visiting some of the local bars along the marina for food, drink and general atmosphere.

For a 4 star hotel what was there to like? To begin with, for a handicap room who ever heard of having an elevated mattress with not even a step stool to climb in and out of the bed. A pure hazard. King size bed will indicate 2 occupant. Only 1 one person couch and 1 desk chair supplied. A very uncomfortable room. The closet was taken over with the Safe that was stuffed in there. The coffee maker was broken. The bathroom basin was almost plugged. The shower was just a trickle, no light and no exhaust system. The toilet was barely sufficient.
