Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos is an adults-only, ultra-luxury hotel located in beautiful Los Cabos. This resort offers a plethora of luxurious amenities including sophisticated and stylish accommodations. Mismanagement or Bait and Switch, intentionally misleading in order to up-charge customers? When I booked our room at Le Blanc via Expedia, I was given an option to select the type of room (I chose standard, partial ocean view), and rather I wanted two double beds or one king bed (I chose king bed). My reservation clearly identified the options I chose - standard king room. Upon arrival, we were ushered to a desk and greeted by a representative from Le Blanc. He tells us that we booked through Expedia, so we're being placed in a room with two double beds, and if we wanted to upgrade to a king bed he could do it for an extra $250/night, on top of the $1,000+ per night we're already paying! I was shocked and appalled to say the least. I would have never booked this hotel to celebrate marrying the love of my life if there were even a possibility that we'd be sleeping in different beds on our wedding night. The way I see it, the hotel knows full well the number and types of each kind of room they have, so they should not knowingly provide customers an unavailable option during the booking process - don't ask me which type of room I choose if you are not going to honor the choice! They're either mismanaging the hotel inventory, or they're intentionally misleading by selling a particular experience through choices and photographs, only to shock unsuspecting customers upon arrival by telling them what they've booked is just an illusion and forcing them to pay more for the experience they're expecting and already paid for.
So back to the question I started with. Is this mismanagement or bait and switch, intentionally misleading customers to up-charge? I believe it's the latter because they clearly had available king bed rooms or they would not have offered one to me for an extra $250/night. This was clearly an attempt to take advantage of an unsuspecting and desperate customer by gouging them for more money and forcing them into a lose-lose scenario, either pay the extra money (lose) or sleep in separate beds on your honeymoon (lose). Needless to say, this completely ruined my wedding night!
Not to mention we weren't provided with a tour of the property, no overview of the amenities and services, no assistance with making reservations, no maps, nothing! Once they realized I was not happy with their attempted price gouging they sent us on to our room to fend for ourselves.
No matter how nice the property is, any organization that intentionally treats their customers this way is not worthy of a 5-star ranking. Do not book at this property if you're expecting a 5-star experience! They ruined what should've been the most beautiful night of my life and it's an experience I'll never get back.

We just returned for the 3rd time this year from our favorite LeBlanc Cabo Resort! From the moment we arrive to the front door of the resort the quality of service is noticeable, and we can feel the genuine warm welcome from the staff.
We had a truly amazing week with excellent service and delicious food and drinks. Here our review of some areas of services:
Coffee Shop: We were assisted many mornings by Efrain, he made us delicious lates and crepes! Appreciate his kindness, and great service to us!
Gym: it could not be a good day without a stop to do some work or take a class with the wonderful and knowledgeable staff, Adriana, Daniel and Ivan. They were always happy and ready to help us. We appreciate their time and advice on how to have better workout! Great facilities and staff. Thank you Team.
Blanc Ocean, it is our daily place for breakfast and lunch looking at the beautiful ocean! At Blanc Ocean there is a happy atmosphere! As soon we walk in, staff remember us, and makes feel so welcome, this is our favorite place!
All week we were taking care of by our good friend Omar. As always, he is very professional, friendly, fast, and knows the menu very well. Omar remembers what we like to eat and drink. He went out of the way to make sure our meals were perfect! We really appreciate his kindness and taking care of us, as always, he made us feel special.
We also had two great meals at dinner time, and we were served one time by Jaime and the other by Jordan. Both were friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and made good recommendations, overall great service and we enjoyed talking to both.
Blanc International, we enjoyed two delicious dinners. Their food is delicious, the steak is perfectly seasoned and cooked. Great Chef! We also ate the best Beef empanadas ever! Cannot wait to eat there again! Angel served us both times, he was attentive and professional, also helped us to choose a good Mexican wine!
Entertainment @ 9:00pm at Blanc Fire was wonderful, the schedule is perfect since it is after dinner, All the performances were wonderful. Bingo was enjoyable!
While at Blanc Fire, we were so happy to see that Nancy is back to the Resort, we really missed her on our last trip in July. Nancy is a sweet, caring, and professional, she takes good care of her customers and made sure they are happy with the drinks and she remembers what we like from previous trips, that is excellent customer service.
Swimming Pools Service:
We appreciate and love the Food and Beverage staff at the pools, they are super attentive, friendly, and they work hard all day to take care of all of us. We are very thankful to the Manager Asaf for his amazing leadership, long day of work, under the sun, constantly moving scanning around to see how service is going and personally checking up with the hotel guests. Rafael - We are always happy to see him and to see his personal grow with the company. We received outstanding service from him, he helped us every day with our chairs, ice, etc., with a nice smile and a positive attitude. He is a joy.
Sebastian, he has served us since the first time we came to the resort a few years back, it is a pleasure to see his happy smile, positive attitude, and his wonderful service to everyone. He made sure we were able to watch our football game twice in the week! plus other services! We appreciate him a lot.
Also, many thanks for her good service to Valentina for making sure we had what we need at our chairs, to Gerardo and Alberto, they kept our glasses full all the time, and always with a beautiful smile! We believe all the pool service staff deserve a big thank you for their hard job!
