Fantastic 4th Visit!
SheilaT153 (Houston, Texas) on Feb 03, 2023
My husband and I recently returned from our fourth trip to Leblanc Spa in Cabo and it was fantastic! We spent 7 nights in a 2nd floor partial ocean view room. We like this room category because rooms are easily accessible and we often take the stairs instead of waiting for elevators. Check-in was easy and the wrist band room key is so convenient; you never have to wonder if you left your key in the room. Restaurants: We made dinner reservations in advance through the Leblanc App, which I would highly recommend, otherwise there may not be openings at your desired date/time. • Blanc Ocean - Great breakfast although service was a bit slow. Good cinnamon rolls, french toast, ranchero eggs. Lunch - try the shrimp burger, fries and shrimp tinga taco. • Blanc International - had breakfast here most days because the buffet was quick and good, with many options to choose from. Try the french toast and pork burrito. Lunch and dinner were ok, although not our favorite. Hamburger was good. • Blanc Pizza - ordered a chopped salad with shrimp for lunch from the pool chairs. They brought the chopped salad from Blanc Pizza and grilled shrimp on the side from Blanc Ocean! • Habibi for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast - excellent grilled chicken wraps and french toast. Dinner main courses were excellent, our favorite being the grilled chicken skewers. We also liked the flatbread appetizer. • Lumiere (French) - had dinner here twice. Good seafood appetizer, seared tuna, scallops, catch of the day, and onion soup. We did not care for the escargot, but do not miss the molten lava cake! • Blanc Asia - our favorite restaurant, ate here twice. First night, our waiter, Miguel, fed us. He brought lots of different menu items for us to try including fried rice, sushi, sashimi, hot rock beef and dessert. Second visit, we ordered dishes we missed previously (try the shrimp tempura). We also took advantage of other dining options: • Chef’s Dinner - Our Butler, Scarlet, was able to get us into the Chef’s dinner, even though we were told it was full and there were several empty seats. The dinner was held outdoors, and it was quite chilly the week we were there; outdoor heaters near the tables would have helped. Food was ok. The resort restaurant options were better in our opinion. • Poolside seafood buffet - There was a seafood buffet poolside for lunch one day. We did not see this advertised anywhere. We heard about it from one of the pool staff. One side of the buffet had raw seafood (i.e. ceviche, etc) and the other side was grilled (shrimp, salmon, seabass, veggies), and paella. Very nice. • Taco cart was quite popular although we did not try it this week. • Coffee shop - several good dessert options, as well as coffee (hot and cold), sandwiches and crepes. • Ice cream cart - we visited almost daily • Drink carts – on our previous visits, we liked to have drinks made at the drink carts being pushed around the pool. On this trip, there were drink carts near the pools, but they were no longer pushing them around the pools and they had decreased in popularity, perhaps because of a change in bartenders. • Churro cart - awesome, hot churros, always had a line at 4 pm when this opened. Although we tried a few dishes during the week that we did not care for, overall, we very much enjoyed our dining experiences, and really appreciate the many options and high quality of food and drinks that the resort offers. Entertainment - We enjoyed the poolside entertainment including the saxophonist, violist, and DJ. Restaurant entertainment was also very good including the large violin at Lumiere, piano and singer at International and the belly dancing at Habibi. We went to the lobby bar every evening before dinner. We missed going to Blanc Fire before dinner to listen to live music. The entertainment at Blanc Fire was later in the evening (8 PM) than it had been on our past trips, and we had dinner reservations at the same time. The Azteca Band at Blanc Stage was awesome, playing a good variety of music, and got the crowd to fill the dance floor. Spa & Gym: We did the hydro-therapy and a 50 min Renaissance couples massage – very nice, with warm beds and blankets, and good ambiance. The gym is fully equipped, and the equipment is well maintained. Staff: Service throughout the resort was outstanding. The staff in blue shirts around the pool will help get your pool chairs set up, bring ice and water, and the staff in white shirts are the waiters (tip separately). Shout out to Sebastian, Rafael, and Valentina who were so helpful all week! Our butler, Scarlet, also did a great job for us, even getting us into the Chef’s Dinner for the first time (it was our 4th time at this resort). Although we had 2 butlers, we rarely saw the other butler, and it was a bit difficult communicating with him. Housekeeping service was good, although a bit inconsistent. Turn down service was hit or miss. We also received a few inconsistent responses to some of our questions. Example with the Chef’s Dinner - the app said it was at 6:30 pm, although our email confirmation said 7 PM, then we received a text saying it was at 6:30 pm. We were seated at 6:30 pm, but it started 15-20 minutes late. Issues overall were quite minor. Service throughout the resort was top notch, as were the food and entertainment. Temperatures were cooler on this trip, than any of our previous trips, especially early mornings and late evenings. The main pool and infinity pools were heated, and the jacuzzi was quite crowded late in the day. A benefit of going in January was that we saw whales just about every day. We brought another couple with us on this trip. It was their first time at Leblanc Cabo, and they loved it so much, they ended up extending their trip by 3 more nights! Leblanc Cabo remains our favorite all inclusive, adults-only resort!
Good service

Hotel was nice and clean. It seemed there was a challenge making reservations through the butlers some days but once you got in both the food and service was good. Recieved great service for Jaime at the Oceans resturant.
