Revolting and rude staff
rotorwayhelicopter (Calgary, Canada) on Jan 28, 2023
Absolutely revolting hotel. Dirty floors, EXTREMELY incompetent and RUDE staff. Management is even worse. Window in the room was absolutely FILTHY could barely see through it. HAIRS all over the sheets. MOLD in the shower. DIRT on the floors. POOL area should be condemned, disgusting. Moncton has better options. Hampton Inn is beautiful.
Old, Poorly Maintained and OverPriced
Nigel J (Halifax, Canada) on Jan 12, 2023
The good: Stayed here for a hockey tournament and the hotel did a great job of providing space for parents and teams to socialize in the conference rooms thereby keeping the parties out of the rooms. The hotel was reasonably quiet given that it was full of kids' hockey teams. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Reasonably good gym and a pool for the kids. The Bad: Very long line for check-in, and some team members waited over an hour to get checked in. Only two elevators for a very large building and they are poorly maintained. One went out of service and the other had door-closing issues creating very long waits. Mini fridge in the room failed, causing the loss of our weekend's tournament food. Parking is outrageously priced for a small city. $17/day. Room rates were also excessive for an old building. Building is showing its age with old ceilings, old carpets and small windows Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are much newer, nicer hotels in downtown Moncton that are priced the same or better.
