Worst hotel I've been too

I arrived on a Tuesday, got checked in. The room was average but small. The problem was when the employees stay on your back like a wet t shirt to go to this meeting ( like a time share thing). I repeatedly told them I'm not going n the day of they came n found me on the beach n wouldn't take no for an answer. I was highly disappointed because I went for rest n relaxation. I felt like I was harassed. The employees have attitudes. They don't have a place to get coffee r juice after a certain hour. Highly disappointed with my stay there.
I think it’s safe to say third time is not the charm ladies, gentlemen and gender nonconforming people.

This is a summary of my 5-year anniversary stay at Iberostar Beach, which was a mix of highs and lows. The first impression was marred by rude front desk staff, Bianca & Kimberly, who made no effort to apologize for an error. Akeem and Tomass, provided excellent service, restored faith and upgraded the room to an Ocean view. Aqueria at guest services was also delightful and deserves high praise. The Italian restaurant provided great service, but the food left something to be desired. The smokehouse dinner experience was a standout, thanks to Kalia and Oraine. However, the second night at the buffet was a low point, with no service from assigned server Kemonia. The reaction to politely asking about her name was strange and somewhat hostile, which led to a short stay and a switch to another hotel, Royalton, which exceeded expectations. The stay could be improved upon in three categories: consistency in food quality and taste, customer service, and entertainment. The non-meat options are satisfactory, and the room was cleaner than our last stay. However, the staff needs more consistent training and support, activities or incentives to boost morale, and more exposure to people of different backgrounds as they seemed quite prejudice to my partner and I & overall a more welcoming environment at Iberostar Beach. I'd say choose Iberostar Suites or Grand for a proper vacation.

The hotel and staff have great vibes. The beds in the room are very uncomfortable. Most sank in the centre. Food was mediocre I enjoyed the buffet most days. Dinner reservations were non existent or offered at 9:30 in the evening. Asked for dirty banana multiple days. Bartenders would make them with no banana. One day I grabbed bananas at the buffet and then brought the to the bar!! I wish I loved this experience better. I would rate it 6/10. Beach vendors are relentless and if you don’t buy they call you names. Come on iberostar we pay good money to come chill. And yet you let the beach be enjoyable again

Experience was Disappointing

I am very disappointed with my experience here. Came with my husband and 3 year old child. I was very excited because I have actually stayed at the Suites building in the past. This rose hall beach was terrible. First, I fell down a flight of poorly lit stairs while walking back to my room after breakfast. When I went to the lobby for help the receptionist was quite apathetic and told me I needed to wait an hour for the nurse to arrive. I took a cart over to the nurse and then waited 20 minutes after her opening time for her to arrive. When she came into the clinic she didn’t say hello and looked quite annoyed to see me. First thing she asked was “what is the nature of your emergency? Just so you are aware it’s 40 dollars for me to assess you” I am actually an anesthesiologist so I really needed just an ace wrap and ice for a sprain. I was disgusted that she showed zero empathy and was down to financial business. In addition while waiting to see her I heard her going off behind closed doors about how annoyed she was for being rushed to see this “emergency”. I was indeed in excruciating pain. Since the front desk would not get my ice I was depending on her to help. Very disappointed. My saving grace was an amazing security guard who placed ice in a glove for me! He was the only one who at least tried to help. To make matters worse the elevator closest to my room was out of order. I had to limp back to my room for 3 days using the furthest elevators. I also noticed that many hallways were poorly lit as well. This is dangerous considering the floors are slippery due to people walking back to rooms from the pool. Second, when my room was cleaned by housekeeping they placed a soiled pillow case right on my pillow. My husband noticed just as we were about to place our son down for a nap. Please see the pictures attached to this review. The spots were brown and disgusting. Third, the food was terrible. The service very sub par in comparison to the grand hall and suites building. No one even asked us if we wanted water when we sat down for breakfast. No coffee was offered. I understand that when you pay less you get less amenities but everyone deserves good service. This should include clean linens and attentiveness to your guests needs. I honestly would never stay at the rose hall again. The grand hall most definitely. I was grateful to leave.
