Beautiful design

My husband and I stayed in the Platinum Suite, which was comfortable and well-appointed, offering a relaxing space to unwind after enjoying the property. The resort itself was one of the most beautifully designed place we had seen in a long time. From the lighting and curated vignettes to the architecture and furniture, everything felt absolutely perfect. The staff were amazing—attentive, friendly, and professional, with nothing to complain about. Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations in many ways. That said, there were a few downsides. The disco was uncomfortably cold, very dark, and excessively loud, which made it difficult to fully enjoy a night of dancing. The sports bar itself was fun, but the sound quality was poor and the DJ talked far too much—less talking and better audio, along with more music, would have made for a much better atmosphere. We also think adding more karaoke nights at the sports bar would be a great idea, as they tend to be very popular and add to the fun. The beach was on the smaller side and not always easy to walk due to shells and rocks, which could be hard on the feet. Swimming wasn’t our favorite either, as there were quite a few rocks, very soft sand that you sink into, and a noticeable amount of sargassum. Dining was somewhat inconsistent. While the food was good at times, there were some misses. We visited Robert’s Flame three times for filet mignon, and despite consistently ordering it medium, it was cooked to different temperatures each time. The Mexican and Italian restaurants were quite loud with many children, and the food was average. The Pearl restaurant had potential, but unfortunately the swordfish was overly salty and not enjoyable. We also felt the resort would benefit from having more adults-only dining options, as this would create a more enjoyable, adult-focused experience. Despite these issues, we still had a memorable stay thanks to the resort’s beauty and outstanding staff.
Anniversary Trip

My husband and I recently vacationed at an all-inclusive resort, Princess Senses Mangrove (adults only), in Jamaica, and the property itself is stunning. The landscaping is beautifully maintained, and the views are gorgeous from nearly every spot. Our swim-out/semi-private pool room was top-notch, with a comfortable bed, an amazing shower, and a relaxing hydro tub on the deck—perfect after dinner and evening music. The food options were plentiful, though waits for restaurants on the Grande side could be long. We didn’t mind, as we enjoyed cocktails and the view while waiting. The hibachi grill was a fun, entertaining experience, and we especially loved the steakhouse—Christopher and Jamie provided exceptional service. The Italian, Fusion, and Jamrock restaurants were also very good. The morning buffet, however, was just okay, with slow service and mediocre food. Service throughout the resort really stood out. The Blue Note bar, open in the evenings, had excellent service from Chevronne and Shaneque, along with great nightly music. The Azure pool bar was a daily favorite, and Joy consistently delivered top-notch service. We also enjoyed the coffee bar each morning thanks to Kimone and Crystal. Ackeem, the pool cleaner, was incredibly kind and helpful, always keeping the area pristine. Fitness classes with Romaine were fun, engaging, and well worth attending. The beach was a downside—it’s man-made, so while it’s pretty to look at, it’s not ideal for walking. The weather was typical for Jamaica, with rain in the forecast most days, but we experienced beautiful conditions throughout our stay. The spa was nice, with pricing comparable to other high-end resorts. Overall, while we had a relaxing and enjoyable trip and appreciated the many standout staff members, we likely wouldn’t return if visiting this resort again. Check-in was smooth, and the staff member who escorted us to our room was very helpful in explaining everything.
Amazing from start to finish

?????????? 5-Star Experience – Exceptional From Start to Finish We had an outstanding stay at Princess Senses The Mangrove — honestly one of the best hotels we’ve experienced. From the moment you walk into the massive, impressive foyer, you can see the attention to detail. The entire hotel is immaculately clean, and the aesthetics are on another level — from the seating areas to the overall design, everything feels premium and well thought out. The staff truly make this place special. Everyone was welcoming and professional: • The girls in the coffee shop were brilliant every day • The fitness team were full of energy — Romaine had me close to joining aqua sessions daily • Daniel in the gym was always helpful and knowledgeable • George on the beach kept everything running smoothly There are too many great staff members to mention — the service across the board is top class. We saw a few reviews mentioning long waits for restaurants, but that wasn’t our experience at all. Over our 10-day stay: • Most waits were 5–10 minutes • Only once did we wait around 30 minutes, and that was peak time at the Italian If you’re looking for a premium, high-end hotel where everything is done properly, this is it. The only slight downside is the location — it’s a bit further from some of the main attractions — but that’s the trade-off for the peace, quality, and setting you get here. We’ll definitely be back.
Special people visting Jamaica with Special employees who care!!

Everley and Decardo aka Vernill and Nikolas were wonderful. They helped make our vacation even more special. They cared, they were attentive, they made sure everything was taken care of. They even helped make a surprise party to come to life with a floating breakfast - poolside! You will not be sorry when you make this your next stop!
Not a True All-Inclusive – Disappointing Experience Across the Board
Bianca S (Las Vegas, Nevada) on Apr 07, 2026
We were extremely disappointed with our stay. This resort does not deliver on what most travelers would reasonably expect from an “all-inclusive” experience. First and foremost, the inclusions are very limited. Premium liquor and upgraded dining options come at an additional cost—often thousands of dollars more—which is completely out of line with other all-inclusive resorts we’ve visited around the world. Even basic expectations like room service are not truly included, and these extra charges were not clearly disclosed at booking. The food was consistently poor. Limited dining options, especially for breakfast AND lunch (essentially one buffet), and overall low quality made meals something we dreaded rather than enjoyed. This would definitely not pass the health code in the US. One evening at the steakhouse was particularly bad—so much so that it caused illness afterward. Service and policies were also frustrating. There seemed to be inconsistent enforcement of dress codes (guests walking around in revealing cover-ups while others were turned away), and overall the experience lacked the flexibility and hospitality you’d expect at this price point. Most concerning was a serious safety issue: on our first night, the room service attendant entered our room while we were asleep. This was incredibly unsettling and unacceptable for any resort, let alone one positioning itself as upscale. You also have to PAY for room service delivery. Overall, this resort feels misleadingly marketed. Between the hidden costs, poor food, limited options, and safety concerns, this is not a true all-inclusive experience. We would not return and would strongly recommend others look elsewhere.
