Good hotel but the food let’s it down it’s not replenishid enough and I wouldn’t bother going in the shop you go in there and they don’t have no change and the staff have no manners some are nice most of them aren’t wouldn’t book this hotel again.
Horrible experience. Stay Away!!!

Look, let's keep it short. I could literally spend a day recapping our terrible experience here, and it still wouldn't be enough time. I am always so hesitant when I see negative reviews. Because sometimes it seems the reviewer is just overly demanding or crazy or whatever. I don't think I am overly demanding or crazy, but hey, you can decide for yourself. The take home point is this--the hotel is physically fine. The pool is nice(though there are jagged rusty screws sticking out of the padded sitting areas in the middle, but whatever), and the rooms are fine(though mine had broken stuff that we asked for them to fix multiple times and they never did). The beach is beautiful, and the food is ok.(I mean, it's not great, but whatever, no big deal). What it comes down to is the service. Every single waiter/waitress was either clueless and forgot 90% of what your ordered or asked for, or they were rude, or both. The pool and beach staff were non-existent and lazy. We would see a staff member every 2 hours, and it would take them 30 minutes to bring you back a warm, watery drink. The bar tenders often told us they "ran out" of whatever. Want a mimosa? No Champagne. Want a pina colada? No coconut. Wanted a rum and coke, and this is true and my absolutely favorite--no glasses! The restaurants were always "completely booked" but when we walked by, EVERY TIME we walked by, every single restaurant was 75% empty. I could go on. Suffice it to say it felt like every request I was asking someone for a HUGE favor. Every time you asked for something it was a "no". Or worse, they would say yes and then not follow through, so you are stuck waiting for someone who is not coming back. I have stayed at a bunch of all-inclusives, I have travelled all of the world. This stay at Royalton was so bad I not only will never go back to Royalton, I honestly have such a bad taste in my mouth from this, I don't think I will ever go back to Jamaica.
