Five-star experience at an affordable nightly rate

Clark127 (San Francisco, California) on Mar 07, 2026

As destination wedding planners, we view resorts a bit differently. We notice the hospitality, how the staff work and interact with guests and each other, the food, the service, and the amenities. Breezes Bahamas checked every box for us. From our arrival, we felt the difference. The owner and her leadership team greeted us at check-in, demonstrating the level of service they provide. They arranged a stunning oceanfront room with Bahamian welcome gifts, instantly setting the mood. What makes this resort unique is that it is all-inclusive with the most beautiful swimmable beach—exactly what people envision when they think of the Bahamas. Clear turquoise waters, soft sand, and expansive views create a perfect wedding backdrop. The on-site bridal consultant gave us a glimpse of what couples and guests might experience during a celebration at Breezes. Executive Chef Ronald Holder prepared a private beachfront dinner for us, which was honestly a highlight. We were welcomed with Sky Juice, a Bahamian drink, and enjoyed the sounds of a steel pan in the background. Our first course was Bahamian cracked conch with caramelized sweet plantain. My favorite was the roasted pumpkin soup wrapped in pastry, rich with coconut milk, thyme, and a touch of heat from scotch bonnet. The herb-crusted rack of lamb was exceptional, topped with a deconstructed warm guava duff served with vanilla bean rum sauce for dessert. The presentation was stunning, and each bite surpassed any Michelin-starred dish. This level of cuisine elevates a wedding from “beautiful” to “truly unforgettable.” The staff truly understands hospitality. Kim Gibson is truly a bride’s best friend—warm, genuine, and incredibly knowledgeable about the island and weddings. That level of service is what we expect for our clients. What’s rare about Breezes is how it marries the simplicity of an all-inclusive resort with the warmth and personalized attention of a boutique hotel. We left feeling inspired and confident that our couples will be in excellent hands. It was a five-star experience at an affordable price.

Breezes: A Great Place to Relax

HappyEarthWalker (Brampton, Canada) on Mar 07, 2026

If you are looking for a modern facility with none of the quirks and potential problems that an older facility may have, the Breezes is probably not the hotel for you. If a hotel room is for you, a comfortable bed with clean linens, clean towels and an incredibly hard working, dedicated, helpful staff on one of the best beaches in Nassau, at a relatively reasonable price considering Breezes is one of very few all-inclusives on the island, you may find the limitations a reasonable trade-off. The food is quite amazing for an all inclusive. The chefs and restaurant staff work hard to please their guests. We had rack of lamb that was tender and flavorful , roast suckling pig (when one ran out another replaced it), roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, various kinds of fish and an incredible variety of chicken and Bahamian dishes as well as a great pizza and pasta station. The conch chowder was to die for. The vegetables were well prepared (i.e. not over cooked). They have a good variety of salad and fruit items and deserts that are fresh and tasty. The food temperature was checked regularly. On our first night we were late arrivals and by that time some of the food had cooled down but that was an exception. The hot breakfast buffet offered lots of variety and the omelette station was excellent. There are two specialty restaurants but we did not go to them. The beach grill offered great hamburgers, hot dogs, crab sandwiches, conch fritters and fries. The animation staff offered regular activities to keep those who wished to participate, active and engaged. There is a nice, well equipped games room and a small workout room. There are lots of lounge chairs on the beach and around the pool, but not many cushions. They do not offer water toys or watercraft rides but there are others who do nearby. What stands out at the Breezes is the friendliness, professionalism and helpfulness of the entire staff- from the front desk, to the security guards, the housekeeping staff to the kitchen and serving staff, bar tenders to the staff at the tours desk. There is easy access to taxis, a short walk to jitnies, and it’s an easy 5 minute walk to the Casino at Baha Mar. We would go back to the Breezes and recommend it because of the location and the staff.

Cater to spring break

LaDonna S (Sturgis) on Mar 05, 2026

They advertise adult only. But cater to students of all ages during the month of March, first college students then high school students. This information should be given during booking, very upsetting when your relaxing vacation ends with loud ,Vulgar ,disrespectful kids and loud window shaking music. Very disappointed. Will probably look elsewhere in the future.

Average all inclusive!

Caren L (Campbell River, Canada) on Mar 04, 2026

My husband and I booked Breezes for 2 weeks based on positive reviews. The location on Cable Beach is beautiful. The resort as mentioned is dated, however the bed was comfortable and the room clean. For the most part staff were friendly and helpful. The resort is a u shape. Every night there is entertainment which is quite loud. If noise bothers you I would ask for a room on the outside of the u. My husband liked being able to get a night time drink at the piano bar. Dale and the other staff were great. Unfortunately the Piano bar smelled of sewage, some days worse than others. Near the pool is a snack shack. We loved the fish and chips, jerk chicken and greek salad. In our opinion the burgers lacked flavor as did the hotdogs. However we heard some people really liked them. Th buffet is quite large. There was aways a good choice for breakfast, fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast, waffles, omelettes, etc. We did not like lunch at the buffett . The food choices were not great and the hot food was cold. For the most part we also found the dinner buffet lacking. The flavor of the food was not great, again the hot food was cold. The salad bar was great as were the pastries. We ate at all of the specialty restaurants. We did not like the service or food at the Italian restaurant. The garden of Eden was ok with the Japanese restaurant being the best. Again, this is our opinion, but we heard others that loved the Italian restaurant one day, but not the next. In the buffet hall it can be challenging to find a clean table. Sometimes we would get our own utensils, dinnerware, etc..Trying to get wait staffs attention could be difficult . Not sure if they are understaffed, inefficient or both. The pool area was great, with entertainment which was fun. We did not go in the hot tub. It was quite cloudy and did not look very hygienic. In short this is a 3 star at best.

Bahamas on a budget

Mrskatieski (Dubuque, Iowa) on Mar 04, 2026

My husband I just spent the week at Breezes and we have some pros and cons that could help you plan your stay. PRO: Good location on the island, inexpensive taxi to the downtown or marina. Clean the resort is dated but it's clean. Bedding and towels are fresh not stained and are well maintained. This is an important one. Beach and pool are nice with plenty of chairs and towels. Pool was very clean and clean around swim up bar and main bar. Beach grill we found the food from the grill to be some of the best on the resort. More on food below. View from rooms, we spent extra for the ocean view and it was worth it. Room was very dated but clean, bathrooms seem to have had more recent upgrades with decent showers and updated sinks and toilets. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water in the mornings. Plenty of entertainment on most days of the week, plenty of late night things to do. We were worn out every night and didn't take advantage but could hear the fun from our room. It wasn't overly loud and that's what ear plugs are for, don't get bully cause others are having a good time. CONS: Food buffet had plenty of options but were just a step above cafeteria food. Plenty of seating in the buffet area and lots of servers to help and keep tables clean. We tried some of the other restaurant's on the property and we enjoyed the Munasan Asian and it was really good, food was fresh and good service. We also ate at the Garden of Eden, later in the evening the service was not the best food was ok. We didn't make it to Martino's the Italian resturant. Another con on the food is there are times of the day when not much is available to eat and if you are used to a Mexican all inclusive this is not the same. There is a small store on site where you can but bottled water or a bag of chips or a T shirt. No fridge in your room, should you need one you can request at an extra fee. We always bring a backpack cooler, we bought water in the small store and some pop for our room and kept it cool with ice from the bar. There is fountain pop and juice available 24 hrs in the buffet area and an ice maker. No ice on each floor of the hotel. Overall we found the island to be very expensive but if you want to tick the Bahamas off your bucket list on a budget this is your place. The resort next door has a casino with walking paths connecting, about a 10 minute walk. I'd give Breezes a 3.5 star out of 5 review.
