Not march the expectations for Hyatt Regency

No coffee maker, no kettle, no coffee and tea. Even no Qtips. Room was cold and can't adjust temperature much. Cold wind gets into room throught window frames. Shower faucet does not work properly, water is either too cold or too hot. My backpack front pocket got tampered in luggage storage room.

Our stay at the Hyatt New York was absolutely exceptional, and a huge part of that was thanks to Jose and the incredible team. From the moment we arrived, our family was treated with genuine warmth, care, and professionalism that truly stood out. Jose made us feel immediately welcome and went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was taken care of. He was attentive, kind, and always willing to help, whether it was assisting with arrangements, answering questions, or simply checking in to make sure our family was comfortable. The entire staff reflected the same level of hospitality and made us feel valued throughout our stay. Traveling as a family can sometimes be stressful, but Jose and the Hyatt New York team made the experience seamless and enjoyable. It is clear they take pride in what they do and genuinely care about their guests. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this Hyatt to anyone visiting New York. Thank you to Jose and the entire team for treating our family so wonderfully.

Everyone was so nice and the hotel was beautiful. It’s in perfect location. If you are coming to NYC you should definitely stay here!
Poor checking in service

Whilst the room was lovely, and plenty of lifts, the service at reception was appalling. After waiting over an hour to check in we were told that we didn’t have a roll away bed available and they would supply us with blankets so my son could sleep on the floor! The supervisor was so unhelpful, so we decided to leave it with them to sort and they said we would get a text message when room was ready. In meantime we spoke to our holiday broker to complain and they managed to organise get a rollaway bed with the hotel. No text message and another long wait to get our keys. If it hadn’t have been for BA (our holiday broker) I am unsure what we would have done. Paid for 3 guests and only provided with one bed - totally unacceptable. Majority of staff were rude and unhelpful and reception was poorly managed. Better hotels out there.
Great location

This location is unbeatable as is the staff. We've been staying here for years. We've seen renovation and name changes and this has always been a solid hotel with CVS and McDonald's near by. Not to mention its in times Square. It is a shame they have primitive TVs with no youtube, netflix,Prime, chromecast, or Airplay.
