love this gem of a hotel..

I returned here with my daughter ( last 2 times with my husband) as i wanted her to experience this gem of a hotel and wasn't disappointed. I requested a room in the 40,s and had 46. this one had the rooms in the rafters, which we didn't use. it was perfect as she had the room to herself for privacy..and i had the most comfy sofa bed, perfect location for the Jetty bar. all the bartenders here was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble , and even came to the beach while on sunbeds and brought your drinks to you. I personally found all the staff, from the reception, to the dining hall, the cleaners and bar was so friendly and if you asked anything they obliged, with most time a smile. What i love here, you can choose to have the holiday you want... if you want to join in with the animation you can, but if like me i wanted peace and quite you can have that also. i found the food very tasty, some complain about not much choice, while pilling their plates, with all the choices at once hence it would seem repetitive. just put a said meal (like at a restaurant) and then you will see there is plenty to have. The little bays you can swim in are full of fish and you can spend hours in the water looking at them..I cant comment on the pools as i don't use them, as prefer the sea. im really looking forward to my return in june for 3 weeks of fun , laugher, and relaxation.

The bungalows are dated but lovely and quirky, right on the beach, im here at the moment. I booked through tui and paid quite a lot, the bar staff are mostly ignorant, the food very same ish and bland, the restaurant staff not very nice, snack time 3 til 5 but didn't start til 4 and table service which my mum didn't know, went to help herself and got belittled by a member of staff, been here 3 days and ready to go home
