Spring break 2026

Icesloth1985 (Cheyenne, Wyoming) on Mar 28, 2026

Bigger rooms and next to disneyland. Not even crowded during spring break. Food was good. Bad is no free drip coffee. Pool was great for kids and crowd free fireworks. Close enough ro the parks to come back and swim in the heat of the day. 1000 steps from the gate.

Great location!

Breanna C on Mar 17, 2026

We love the location and the kids had a blast in the water area! The WiFi was down the night we checked in so that was a bummer, but they got it fixed overnight. Our valet, Avery, was soo courteous and helpful and showed us all our amenities the hotel offered. We would definitely stay there again!

Don’t do it. Cockroaches.

Melissa U (Sacramento, California) on Mar 14, 2026

Hotel was fine, decor was nothing spectacular. Overpriced for what it was but is close to Disneyland so it made sense to be so high. The pool and hot tub was fun for the kids. What I didn’t expect was cockroaches in our room climbing all over the place once we dimmed the lights. We were in the 5th floor, so I’m sure they are everywhere throughout the hotel. We left in the middle of the night because who could sleep soundly through that. Front desk didn’t sound surprised about the bugs, and thankfully refunded our stay. We ended up moving at midnight to the Pixar place, which was lovely and less expensive than our cockroach infested room. We took a video to show the front desk, screenshot of video is attached here.

Mid-level hotel with luxury-level pricing

Lisa R (Houston, TX) on Mar 14, 2026

Our Disney planner was able to bundle the hotel with our park tickets, which was convenient, but it was still quite expensive for a Courtyard Marriott in the L.A. area. The lobby is nice and the pool area is well staffed. Being able to order food and drinks at the pool via QR code is convenient and fairly quick. The lobby bar itself is pleasant, though the food was mediocre. The rooms are comfortable. The beds and linens were great and we slept well, and we could see some of the fireworks from our room, which was a nice bonus. The bunk beds, however, are narrower than standard twin beds. The balconies also have no furniture, so there’s nowhere to actually sit and enjoy the fireworks. Housekeeping is only provided every other day, which was a bit frustrating. The biggest issue during our stay was connectivity. The WiFi did not work for about 36 hours, and the phones in the rooms didn’t work for roughly 24 hours. Because the hotel is essentially a concrete structure, cell service is spotty at best. It was frustrating—and honestly concerning—not to have a reliable way to communicate if there had been an emergency or if I had needed to work. After asking about compensation for the WiFi outage, the hotel refunded $50 per day. The hotel is about a 15–20 minute walk to the parks and Downtown Disney. The most direct route oddly goes through part of the parking lot, but the rest of the walk has wide sidewalks and safe crossings. I regularly stay at Courtyard Marriotts, and this property simply isn’t at the same level as many others—despite costing about twice as much. Ultimately, you’re paying for the proximity to Disney, the Disney branding, and the waterpark rather than the overall hotel quality or service.

Amazing experience at this hotel, we were pleased to say the least. Very clean. Location was fantastic. Rooms were comfy. Great value for the price.
