Bathroom needs upgrading and breakfast boring, same everyday.

Bathroom small and outdated , when showering, shower curtain touching you, could barely move, in need of an upgrade.Breakfast could be better , few options and the same everyday, very boring. Shuttle to Disney parks was good on time and close location to parks.
Nice place, close to everything. Great position

Nice hotel. Shuttle bus times to Disney were a little useless for us. Breakfast was good on some days but got boring quickly. Was almost like they used the days before me leftovers sometimes to make a new dish the next day. Staff are great though. During storms the tv went out which was weird.
Nice hotel close to WDW

Great hotel, perfect base to explore Disney World and surrounding areas. Hotel offers a free shuttle service to the parks at Disney if you want to avoid the expensive car parking fees at the parks. Timetable for the shuttle service is on the hotel website and you can also ask the front desk for this information when you check-in. We pre-booked this with the front desk the night before. Rooms are clean and spacious, perfect for families with a separate living area. Room rate includes complimentary full American breakfast buffet. Also an added bonus with free parking at the property.
Great hotel

I stayed here will my husband and 3 kids (14,13 and 10 year old) for a week. Our suite had a living room with the sofa turning into a sofa bed, Fridge, microwave, table, chairs, tv and lots of storage. Then there’s a sink area with plenty of storage. The bathroom has a toilet, sink, huge shower and plenty of storage again. Then the bedroom has 2 queen size beds, tv and storage. The suite was very clean and every day the beds and sofa bed were made, bins taken out, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and towels (bath towels, hand towels and face cloths) replaced. The suite was very comfortable (apart from the sofa bed that my 14 year old slept on but he still managed to sleep) and roomy and we even saw the hot air balloon from Disney springs from the bedroom window. The breakfast is included and has a variety of different foods and drinks. Although every time we went the tables was sticky and very busy. The pool area is very nice with chairs, umbrellas and plenty of pool towels. We always could get a chair. We also used the sister hotels (next door) swimming pool too. It is much bigger and has a slide. There is also a smaller pool with a play area for younger kids. Only this pool is much busier but we still found chairs. The hotel is very clean and there is plenty of spaces in the car park (which is free). The staff are very friendly and lots of parks are near by. Would definitely use this hotel in the future.
Just what we were looking for

We stayed from July 1-8(4th of July--- peak week!). We're a family of four, two adults and two teenagers, who were visiting Orlando parks so we looked for a lodging option out of Disney property. Since flights from Puerto Rico to Orlando book really fast every summer, I started researching in November 2022, and out of all places, we decided to book independently-owned hotel Buena Vista Suites, sister to next door Caribe Royale, and we do not regret it. Our flight to Orlando was rescheduled so many times that I no longer recall what was the original departing time, so we ended up arriving way too early before check-in. We waited a bit inside the car we rented, and at 9:00 am we went inside, hoping that there was a room available, and first thing we noticed was the clean, fresh scent of the lobby. Everything was spotless and immaculate the entire week! Once in front desk, Beverley(so helpful) kindly looked for something available and there it was, room 214 with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. There was a $50 fee(plus tax) for early check in but we didn't mind because we were so eager to sleep! To ensure guests' security, we were given a car permit to put inside our vehicle to validate our complimentary parking, but for those who do not rent a car, you can request a shuttle to Disney parks subject to availability. Room 214 is located right in front of the elevator, but not even once we were bothered by any noise; besides, we only needed our room to shower and sleep, not to spend the whole day watching TV. We went inside and just like the lobby, everything was clean and in good shape, looking bright and welcoming. First thing you walk in is a little living room area with a full-size sofabed, a little table with 2 chairs, lamps and lights, USB ports, power outlets, flat-screen TV including the hotel's directory, a coffee and tea maker, ice bucket, paper cups, a fridge, a microwave oven, a trash can, and lots of drawers. Once you pass a door that separates this space from the sleeping area, you can find the bathroom sink with some toiletries and lots of towels; I appreciate that it was OUT of the bathroom so this way no one could complain that they could brush teeth because someone else was using the shower and/or toilet. Right in front of the sink, there's a door that leads you to the toilet and bathtub, with enough space to put your things. Finally there's the bedroom, with yet another flat-screen TV, both queen beds, more drawers, lamps and lights, USB ports, power outlets, a desk with a chair, two mirrors, a closet with an iron and ironing board, a telephone, an in-built room safe inside one of the drawers(very clever), and a window overlooking the street(we didn't care about the view- that was not the reason of our visit). Both queen beds were comfortable and durable; as of the sofabed, we didn't expect to sleep on it, but rather to sit by to watch TV or having some privacy while the kids were sleeping but guess what? My 16 year old daughter, who dreads sleeping in sofabeds because she has a hard time on them, tried it once we stepped in and she found it so comfy that decided to sleep there the entire stay, and my 17 year old son didn't complain because now he had one of the queen beds all by himself. Once again, I remind that the sofabed is full-sized so it is suitable either for two little children or one teenager or adult. Housekeeping is daily except for linens which are replaced every three days unless you request otherwise. Breakfast was complimentary and some of the hot items changed daily to avoid being repetitive. The breakfast room was fit enough for at least 200 people at once so we always found a spot to eat. Breakfast items included breakfast potatoes, wedge fries, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, toasts, donuts and other pastries, bagels and other assorted bread, assorted cold cereals, yogurt, assorted fruits, made to order- pancakes, juices, milk, chocolate milk, and coffee(I don't remember if there was also tea available, but there were tea packets inside the room beside the coffee/tea maker). Everything was filling and satisfying, and there was staff consistently cleaning the area... again, cleanliness!! One of the main reasons I picked up this hotel was the coin-laundry service. As of today, the cost is $2 for each load, whether washing or drying, and you can look for change at the front desk. There is also a detergent and softener vending machine($1.75 each packet) but we brought travel-sized detergents with us so there was no need. There were about 4 machines for washing and another 4 for drying, and both times I found them ready to use so by the time we checked out the only dirty laundry we had were the clothes we were wearing right at that moment. My daughter and I went to the pool once and it wasn't too big, however it is full of charm, with many chairs and tables surrounding it. It is open until 11 pm which is very convenient after a whole day at the parks. It is heated, and also clean, including the beach towels! We had a placid swim and loved our little time there. Parking was not an issue either; it seemed at times like there was no space available until you get to the back side of the building and there were plenty of additional spots(there's a back entrance to the building using your room key). There was always a security guard on the premises, and there was enough lighting, so both parking sides were safe and secured. Don't miss the pizza station on the first floor; prices are reasonable and the pizza was so tasty and delicious that even my husband, who is not a pizza fan, didn't stop praising it. There are conference rooms and a business center on the first floor for those who need it. I never got the chance to ask whether or not we could use the pool facilities at sister hotel Caribe Royale but based upon our tight schedule, we barely used Buena Vista Suites pool once so it was unlikely that we could go there for those purposes. If you rent a car, and depending on your driving habits, Disney parks are located less than 10 minutes away (Animal Kingdom takes about 15 minutes), about 15 minutes to Sea World parks, and 20 minutes to Universal Studios. There's at least 4 gas stations, a Dollar Tree, CVS and Walgreens, Walmart, Target, and many, many, many dining options nearby, with Orlando International Airport being 20-25 minutes away. And if you're looking for a place to worship, the Basilica of St Mary is just a 7-10 minute drive from the hotel. We checked out straight from the room TV, but there is also a room key drop box right on the lobby. Last but not least, I thank every single staff member from this hotel for their kindness and willingness to help; it was a diverse group, always nice and always attentive. Needless to say, I strongly recommend this hotel; I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you!
