Scary

Smelled horrible and then it was masked with tons of chemicals trying to cover the horrible smell. I felt so I lean walking in there and it seemed as if very illegal activities were going on. I left Would not have let my own pets stay there

Dirty and Outdated. Never again.

While the hotel is convenient in location to Universal, that’s about all that it has going for it. I checked in online, but still had to check in at the front desk, which took almost 30 minutes. They only had two employees at the front desk on a Saturday afternoon. The line was long and the process was long. We were in town for Halloween Horror Nights, but we didn’t expect the hotel elevators to be part of the HHN experience. They were squeaky, and the doors grind and squeal when opening and closing. There were two times when we were not sure if they were going to open. We would have taken the stairs, but we were on the 9th floor. We stayed in room 904, and while spacious, it was dated and dirty. The bathroom door handle was broken, so we couldn’t close the door all the way without getting stuck inside the bathroom. If we didn’t need to leave for the park right after checkin, and if we were staying more than one night, I would have asked for maintenance to fix the bathroom door. Also, the safe didn’t work. I tried to call the desk before check out to let them know that the bathroom door knob was broken and that the safe didn’t work, only to find that the line was busy every time I tried to call. I didn’t stop at the desk, because the line was too long, again. I didn’t have high expectations for the Friday’s attached to the hotel. It was as expected for dinner, mediocre at best. I suggest NOT paying for breakfast at the hotel, it’s a buffet and Friday’s and it is really gross. Go elsewhere for food. Obviously, I would not stay at this hotel again.
