5 years ago, I gave this Holiday Inn a 5 star rating as I have been to it on 7 different occasions from I was 12 years old. I am very sad to say that this entire building needs to be knocked down, the staff need to be trained to work in hospitality as face timing your friends when you're supposed to be working is very unprofessional. The first night we landed, the toilet was blocked, and someone came up and 'fixed' it. When we woke up the next morning, the bathroom was flooded, and the carpet was soaking do had to move rooms. Had to then change rooms again as the new room was also having pluming issues. The maids/cleaners don't hoover, the simply brush the floor, no polishing done no wiping done furniture, no bins even In bathroom, they never seemed to have toilet roll and we were constantly having to ask for towels as we weren't being left any. Allt of the time the msids never came to clean our room and when they did it was 16:30 when we were usually coming back with my 3 year old nephew from a very hot day in the parks. Another thing we noticed was wee insects crawling over the counter in the kitchen area. I also asked for the toilet paper hold d to be fixed as it was low sharp, and my nephew could easily hurt himself on it just by getting on the toilet. I asked about it 3 times, and no one came to fix it. The AC also doesn't work in the rooms, so prepare yourself for a hot, uncomfortable sleep. When I left on Saturday, I was glad to see the back of the place so disappointing and not worth the money. Stay at Universals' own hotels for one week and then Disney the following week. It might cost more, but you can't put a price tag on good hygiene.

Not the greatest! Tub wouldn’t drain, breakfast that you pay for when you choose your room is at Fridays and is terrible! Buffett style but pancakes were cold, biscuits were hard! Hotel charges to check in early(it was 1pm) also charges for parking when you already paid for the room. Wtf??? Like where should you park? Pool area seems nice but they nickel and dime you! Don’t buy the breakfast it’s not worth it!

We held a function at the hotel and the staff of Edgar, Diego & Lauralyn were fantastic! They all were very helpful in setting up the ballrooms & ancillary rooms for what we needed. They were always available and egar to help us.

Lack of management. major shooting at hotel and management has been avoiding my calls. People were killed and a tear gas bomb went off on our floor and we evacuated and have still not heard from management or the Head Quarters of this Holiday Inn. Victim had shot cops, attacked and raped kids and was staying at the hotel! I will continue to post till I receive a courtesy call.

This hotel is infested with bugs. The first day I saw a couple and dealt with it the next day saw more came and told the front desk. They were suppose to deal with it. The next day bugs crawling all over the counter and walls. I ended up checking out at first they didn’t believe me until I showed them the video. I still have not heard back from management
