Do NOT stay here

Rooms are pretty beat up and cheap. Bathrooms are outdated. Staff was rude. Wilson, the restaurant was good though. We will NEVER stay here again.
4 stars...sure!

They list themselves a a 4-star hotel. I think they think it means how many stars can you see from the room at night. But I couldn't count them anyway because I was distracted by the brown and dried out tinder they consider palm trees. They have a pipe sticking out of the shower wall they call a faucet. The couch was an old plastic thing. The AC unit sounded like a freight train but "thankfully" due to the intoxicating and overwhelming bleach smell we had to sleep with the balcony door open which covered some of the noise. Then it came time to leave, which took longer than it should have because one of the two elevators were out of order. The best part, at check-in they said they automatically upgraded us because the room we picked was already booked. If we got "upgraded" I'd hate to see the room those poor people took!
Excellent service

I had a wonderful experience at Meliá Orlando Celebration. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Orlando area. I look forward to coming back!
Lost its appeal.

The Melia has been our go to hotel over the last four years. Its position puts you on the right side of Disney to make getting to theme parks and attractions easy without the traffic queues. Close to Celebration town makes it ideal for using restaurants there we like. The Tavern is a must on every visit. This year we have had two stays before and after cruising. Sadly the hotel is just not keeping up with general maintenance of rooms. They are really showing their age now. The dark furniture is knocked and worn. There was a new dining table and chairs but seemed out of place with the rest of the room. The kitchen cabinets all looking very worn although practical and good storage. The bathroom is big but lacks hand rails for the bath making it difficult to get in and out. The shower head is high with no hand attachment .. no shower caps provided. To make sure to have your room cleaned and serviced it’s advisable to ask at reception otherwise it may not get done and no fresh towels. No cloths are provided for the sink area in the kitchen or paper towel. We had no dishwasher powder for two days. Making washing crockery a problem. The toaster will trigger the smoke alarm if you use it on the counter. We had to plug in by the balcony door. We will be looking for newer better alternative accommodation for our next visit. Sadly Melia are just not keeping up with room renovations. We got a good deal on room rate during the Black Friday sales but the additional $36 nightly room tax makes a significant difference overall. Our welcoming email said we should receive a free breakfast with one paying guest. On arrival we were informed this isn’t available because the Wilson restaurant is not part of the Melia hotel. Our Melia loyalty earned us more points but we will be using them at another destination in the future.
Just ok

The staff couldn’t have been nicer but the room and some amenities of the hotel were lacking. The exercise room was laughable, with only one working machine. The ice machine was down our entire stay despite letting them know it wasn’t working. Our rooms were not in the best shape with old, worn out furniture. Our wrist band keys stopped working before our stay ended so a trip back to the from desk to get new bands. Those are just some of our experiences.
