I've read some good reviews and I've read some bad ones, here's my honest opinion... If you're expecting a 5 star hotel then this isn't the place for you. If you're expecting a nice base, with comfy beds, clean (if a little dated) on a reasonable budget, then you're in the right place! We've stayed for 14 nights and if I return to Orlando in the future, I will definitely stay here again. As stated, the rooms are a little dated but they're clean and have everything you could need including a fridge, a microwave, a large TV, a bath/shower, a coffee machine and a powerful air conditioner (the air con can be a little noisy at times but that didn't really bother us!) The staff are pleasant, the hotel grounds and lovely and very well looked after. There's 2 pools, with pool towels provided and plenty of sun loungers available for use. There's a restaurant on site, which we didn't use but the food always smelt good when we passed. The bar (Topsy Turvey Lounge) was nice and the young lady behind the bar was lovely, however the drinks were quite expensive ($19.60 for two pints of Bud Light came as quite a shock!) The free shuttle to universal parks was really handy but make sure to reserve your place on the bus early as I would imagine these fill up pretty quickly. There was only really two things that let the hotel down and for that reason I would say to avoid the experience desk (can't remember the actual name but the one opposite the reception). We were told to go over there once we'd checked in to be given rewards and benefits for our time here...we were handed a leaflet containing some coupons and then a very pushy lady was trying to sell us a time share and didn't like being told no. If you're not bothered about coupons to save a couple of dollars here and there (which you can pick up elsewhere anyway) then don't bother going to that desk. The other thing that let the hotel down was the on site shop. Now I realise it's there for convenience and convenience stores are generally more expensive but the prices were extortionate! Nothing in there has a price on, so you get the shock when you pay at the till, we only used the shop once but it cost roughly $18 for two chocolate muffins and two chocolate milkshakes...back home it probably expect to spend no more than about £8 on such items and even then I'd expect them to be very good quality for that price which these ones weren't. We were unfortunately here during hurricane Milton and I have to say I was impressed by the clean up operation the next morning, by early afternoon the grounds had been mostly cleared and you wouldn't have known anything had happened - credit to the staff for looking after us all whilst the hurricane was happening. The hotel location is perfect, close to lots of restaurants, shops and there are bus stops just outside on both sides of the road for the I Ride Trolley and the Lynx buses. It's also really easy to get Uber or Lyft to and from here.

Exceptional Stay At The Rosen Inn International. Caring And Very Attentive Staff. Amazing Food Breakfast And Dinner And Excellent Service With Good Quality Rooms. Very Spacious Cosy Rooms. Even Did My Special Request With Fountain View Room. Housekeeping Efficient And Everyday. Free Shuttle To Universal And Also A Cheap Paid Service To Disney. Excellent Location Will Be Back. We stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and had some fond memories when we stayed as a couple but we returned as a family which was a big mistake. We were extremely disappointed: -the level of housekeeping is awful -the rooms have not been updated in over 10 years -furniture is old/broken/stained. - shower was broken, black mould in the bath when we ran one for our daughter; unsure if this was the shower mat or just mould from the bath/tap -mould on the air con unit which works fine but is very noisy. Other visitors smoking marijuana outside our room in the night which found its smell into our room - rooms are dark, little light and no ventilation, smells damp and woody - issues with securing the hotel room door - staff are nice but nobody is going over and above - cockroaches, lizards and centipedes in the room - old food, hair, sanitary items scattered in the corners of the room - one day the maid only made one bed and left us with wet towels for three days (nothing dries in the room as there is no air) - we moved room once as we could not continue with the shower hanging out of the wall. Second room the shower was better but the room door wouldn’t secure, engineer called but he was rude and just told us to slam it shut with all of our weight, not ideal with a two year old daughter, he then said he would repair when he could get to it - old food and filthy in places, do not make the mistake of looking g behind furniture or at the back of draws, it’s disgusting This is a motel, not a hotel. Do not stay here for extended breaks or with small children, it’s not suitable or hygienic enough in the rooms. We raised concerns, none of the staff seemed surprised, management was pretty poor and nobody took ownership of the issues, no manager followed up after we raised our concerns. Positives - the hotel is in a great location for the parks, has ample parking and is next to some good food venues (Dennys next door is great food and service). We complained to Virgin holidays after 5 days and shared our experience, images and videos with them - they agreed to move us to another hotel free of charge. They moved us to the sonesta suites which is just down the road on international drive - rooms, cleanliness and service was of a much higher standard and still reasonably priced. Rosen inn international management only really tried to respond/react when Virgin holidays got involved which was a real shame, at that point it was all too late. Under no circumstances will we stay at this hotel again.

Stayed here 4 times great hotel housekeeper in daily room spotless as hurricane Milton on way stocked up on food water etc forgot to buy plastic cutlery as we had been at sea world then wallgreens and dinner kids were nackard I asked restaurant if I could have 2 forks knives even plastic ones they said no couldn't get back out as grandkids fell asleep got microwave .meals for tonight as going to have to stay in room now no cutlery to eat the food thanks for nothing rosen international staff all friendly except the 1 that was quite ignorant after asking if she could give me 2 lousy forks knives

I’ve been staying at the Rosen Inn International for 24 years, and my most recent visit from September 29th to October 6th was just as incredible as ever. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the rooms are consistently clean and comfortable, and the overall experience is nothing short of amazing. One of the unique features that keeps me coming back is the presence of the hotel’s adorable resident cats. They add such a special touch to the property, and it’s clear that many guests, including myself, absolutely love them! The cats are well cared for and really enhance the welcoming, homey atmosphere of the hotel. As someone who works in the travel industry, I’ve stayed at countless hotels, but Rosen Inn International continues to be my top choice. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I’m in Orlando. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great stay in a comfortable and welcoming environment!
