Spacious room and wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time staying at Sonesta ES Suites during our first visit to this location in Orlando for a quick weekend getaway. The two-bedroom suite was spacious, and we appreciated having separate bathrooms for each bedroom. The kitchen, living room, and dining areas were all utilized and greatly enjoyed. Our two small dogs also loved the place, as there was plenty of green space outside for them. The hotel offers Starbucks coffee and other light breakfast options for a fee. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Even though the room we had initially booked was sold out due to a Priceline error, the staff assisted us in finding a better room and a more convenient location. We would definitely stay here again.

Stunning Pool and Courtyard

Location, location - and absolutely loved the courtyard. The rooms are fairly standard, but the 2 bedroom suite was perfect for our large group. Loved having full kitchen facilities. The rooms could use a bit of an update, but they were satisfactory. The best part of this hotel is the proximity to Disney and the incredible courtyard with the pool. The kids just loved it here. There are a ton of shopping and food options in the area.

Musty rooms, needs refurb.

Basic rooms, could do with a refurb. Room had a musty smell which may be due to to the old carpet and lack of opening widows to allow airflow. Also no drier in room so after using pool you have to use the laundry room which is not ideal. had to use incense sticks to combat room smell. We will not come again as the rooms are just too old and tired. They need a refurb or at least a deep clean.

What hoped to be a magical , relaxing experience turned into a nightmare. The room smelled like mildew but we decided we didn’t want to be annoying & decided we will just buy an air freshener and see how that goes . This is where it all started to go south .On the first night my husband noticed some red bite marks but we assumed it was probably a mosquito since we were out here . The second night we noticed some more marks and wasn’t sure where it came from . On the third night we found blood stains on the pillow and sheets and more mark on his body with severe itching which made it hard for him to sleep and to make matters worse, there was a bed bug dead on the pillow case . We informed the manager Diana who sent someone to check to see if it was truly a bed bug . When these two gentlemen came to check they found another bed bug under the mattress. Even though the manager tried to help , the trauma already set in . Making matters worse the new room was dusty behind the bed and we found condom wrappers and cookie wrappers which was absolutely unbelievable given our current situation with them. And now we are on vacation having to worry about if we are carrying the bed bugs home to our kids. And I had to make a doctors appt on our flight back home. Because my husband has allergic reaction from the bites . All they offered after the “ this is common “ was a 2 day refund … I should be getting a full refund for this . This is unacceptable ! At the end of the day nothing should excuse the cleanliness and safety of your customers….absolutely nothing .This place has a lot of potential of being great but this was an experience I never had to go through in an establishment in all my years of traveling around the world. And I hope they are not just apologetic but take sincere action to make sure none of their guest go through what we did .

Needs renovations

This hotel is in need of new carpet and furniture. It is stained and dirty. The room was damp from the humidity and air conditioning. When we got home, all our clothes stunk from the room and had to be washed two times to get the smell out. This is not a 3 star hotel and the price I paid to stay here was way too much. The lobby is lovely and everyone is friendly..
