Family Summer Holiday

Loews Sapphire is a perfect hotel in a perfect location. The rooms are a great size, the lobby is spectacular and the boat rides to and from the parks were the icing on the cake. The swimming pool was never over crowded which for the size of the hotel was a pleasant surprise. A truly great place

Attention to detail.

Climber20578620903 (Coral Gables, Florida) on Aug 31, 2024

Don’t usually post, but Loews Sapphire Falls at universal has been some of the best service I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. I met a staff member, Santana, and had a nice conversation as we went down the elevator. At the end of the elevator ride he asked my name, a few hours later we received a nice little gift basket with snacks with a nice card from him. These details have been consistent throughout the weekend.

Ruined a family meal, and they didn’t care!

201PaulO (Manchester) on Aug 23, 2024

Visited as a family of 4 for a meal in the restaurant. I ordered a well done steak, it arrived rare so I sent it back. My family had all eaten their food, my replacement still hadn’t arrived so I cancelled it. I asked to speak to a manager who was unsympathetic, simply saying we won’t charge you for the food you haven’t eaten! How awful, won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend!!

Recommended hotel

We stayed at Sapphire for 2 weeks and loved it. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room issue (not the hotel’s fault) and after a bit of trouble resolving, Clayton was super and stepped in to sort it out for us which we really appreciated. We ended up in a lagoon view room in building 2 - such a beautiful view particularly at night. We loved the big lobby, Dutch Trading Co for coffee (and that chocolate cake…) and especially the water taxi - that was a brilliant way to go to and from the parks without the hassle and heat of City Walk security. The pool is beautiful and we loved that it stayed open after dark and really enjoyed a night time swim followed by the lovely fire pit. We would definitely return to Sapphire.

Loews Sapphire Falls vs Aventura honest review

whitfies (London, United Kingdom) on Aug 17, 2024

Stayed here for 4 nights then later at Aventura for 2. LSP feels a little more upmarket in the lobby and bar area, but get ready for the let down when you get to the 1980’s rabbit hutch room. Aventura is similar sized rooms but modern and more functional. The grab and go at LSP is basic and expensive. Aventura is so much better for breakfast, it’s ridiculous - more choice, more seating, half the price. Aventura also has a rooftop bar/ restaurant which is livelier and better view and partly open air. LSP does have a much better pool but watch out for the pricing - $20 for a large beer !! For someone who is very well travelled, this beats even The Atlantis in Dubai as the most expensive beer ! The water taxi can get busy coming back from City Walk so just take the one to Loews Royal thing hotel next door and walk back. Biggest tip if you stay here is take breakfast at Aventura across the road.
