We arrived the first weekend in June and expected a nice, relaxing stay, with the pool being our primary focus. The resort had full occupancy, largely comprised of a very large group celebrating a specific holiday. The teenaged children were roaming around at all hours of the night, into 3 a.m., disrupting the common areas and would not disperse, even after numerous requests and calls to the front desk. After the 2nd night of disruption and being told by the night staff that they've notified security but were "outnumbered", as if this was a gang of rioters, it was apparent this resort was not prepared to handle security or control of this type of situation.
As owners, we expected more than apologizes and suggestions that we, the guests, call the police to attempt to resolve the disruption.
To compound the horrible experience, the kids snuck in glass bottles into the main pool and broke them in the water, causing them to shatter glass in the pool, which then needed to be drained, cleaned, refilled and chemically balanced before reopening for use 2 days later! All this, in 108 degree weather!
While front staff apologized profusely and offered food credits, my family and I feel strongly that this resort, knowing that this very group comes every year at this time, should have provided this information, providing families an opportunity to choose another resort. When we asked if we could transfer to the adjacent Dessert Willows resort, which was NOT at full capacity, we were denied.
While the accommodations were spacious, the rooms were not as clean as they should have been.
Overall, the stay might have been more enjoyable but for this very large group's disruptive behavior; of greater concern was the lack of control the front staff and the entire "security" team seemed to have over the resort. We will not return to this

We chose this resort because for the price, we could get a two bedroom place for the same or more cost of one room at a different resort. And traveling with our teen who wanted his space, this arrangement worked well. If you are looking to spend most of your time relaxing in your room or at the pool then this place is a good option. That’s mostly what we did since we came in the summer when the weather was over 100 degrees the four days we were here. This also would be a good place for those who golf since there is a large golf course at the resort. But we don’t golf so I don’t know anything else about the golfing.
Our 2 bedroom villa was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. The kitchen area was great and had everything we needed in terms of kitchenware and tools. The bathrooms were a very good size. Both bathrooms had a double sink area. The beds were very comfortable. Both rooms had a balcony area with a patio dining set. We really enjoyed our room. There are only two levels to this resort. We were on the second floor. Just note that there is no elevator.
There are two pools. One smaller more quiet one which we preferred or the larger one with a kid’s pool and a small slide area. The smaller pool had a jacuzzi but that pool closes at 8pm. There was one evening when we got back after 8pm and wanted to go swimming so we went to the larger pool which closes at 10pm. Both pool areas were clean and well maintained. The pools themselves were a little on the cloudy side. The smaller pool seemed cleaner. Maybe because less people use it. The larger pool area always had more people.
Honestly, this resort doesn’t have much to offer. Just the two pools and golf course. They have a little library near the check in area where you can take a book or drop one off. No spa and only one restaurant. We didn’t use the restaurant since it closed at 6pm and didn’t serve dinner which was the only time we went out. We cooked in our room for the other meals. But we knew what we were choosing so for what we wanted, this place was good. I think next time we visit Palm Springs we will choose a place with more amenities.
