A Tired, Worn Out Property

Just another tired worn out old property where service is a thing of the past. The room door has to be forced to shut. Fri t desk and “Express Service” extension never answers. Today I called at 2pm to let the housekeeping team know I was out of the room for the day and that I needed a replacement iron. Returned to the room at 7:45pm to a completely unserviceable room….and no iron. Lots of excuses between the Front desk (which I had to call on the external phone number to get them to answer) and housekeeping. Maybe Marriott would be well served by renovating the property and making it something other than a Westin. Just a tired old property.

Wow what a great facial! I chose the ultimate vitamin C facial and it was wonderful. Masami gave a great massage, and really paid attention to detail. The spa itself was very clean I especially liked the little boutique in the front that sold great smelling spa products. It was a great afternoon to spend with a friend, the glass of champagne after the facial was a nice touch. I will definitely be back!
