Pricy but it’s okay

LeaOCgirl (Orange county, CA) on Aug 01, 2022

It’s a nice resort but it could be better. First off it’s wayyyyyyyy too expensive!!! The room quality is no better then an old Marriott the beds were comfortable and the room was clean and nice but at $500 a night if you include resort fees and all the taxes i didn’t feel the price justified the room. The pools are nice very crowded and the ground is HOT!! We left on Saturday because we had heard about the nightmare the resort turns into on the weekend and at 9am the line for the pool did. It disappoint 100+ in line. We rented a cabana on our full pool day and that was worth it because the chair fight was not something we wanted to be involved in. However walking from your chair to the pool is a miserable experience they have some shoe cubbies at the lazy river but by the main pool people have just piled their shoes up at the entrance which I tripped over and I thought as crazy as they are with rules that seems like a head injury waiting to happen. Being in the pool is another challenge… I like to lounge with a drink in my hand but that’s a NO NO! The restrictions feel like a catholic school in the 50’s lots of rules lots of whistle blowing to the point where it starts to drag down the atmosphere. The lazy river is so fun but I got yelled at so many times for not holding my son in his floaty I was over it and made my husband take him. They told us several different things about their rules that its no consistent. The slide is so fun but telling a child they can’t go down it when all their friends are was disappointing. My son can ride big thunder at Disneyland but I can’t take him down a slide. Disappointing. The parking near your room is nice however they are doing construction so my car was DESTROYED with dirt in 1 hour. They are doing a horrible job with clean up. We had to park two buildings away from our room which was fine but again when you charge $500 a night I’m going to expect a little better Accommodations and not a car that looked like I took it off roading. Overall it’s a nice resort and they have free Tesla charging which was a huge perk. I don’t think I would stay at this resort again I would probably go to the Scottsdale one in the future.

Girls Weeeeekend

Courtney K on Jul 31, 2022

We are two mid 30s women who just needed a quick getaway from San Diego. After reading some of the reviews we were apprehensive about this resort but we’ve come to deliver the news that our experience was different. First of all, I should mention we had a discounted rate due to government employee. This knocked the price off about 30-40% Room: outdated? Yes, but not in a way that means there’s been no updates since inception. Just overall layout, furniture, etc. totally east to overlook. Clean? Also yes. (Besides one rogue hair we found in the shower) it was very clean and this means we looked under the beds….we certified it. Service: from Juana at the front desk to Jose NUnez Who gave us a ride on the golf course, to all the pool side attendants to the front desk at the spa to the masseuse, 10/10- incredible service at the property. Everyone was accommodating. Pools: the adult pool was very clean and no rain y’all’s at all. At the wildest there were 10 of us in the water: Perfect service and location. We did attempt the lazy River but the amount of children was disturbing. As a parent; I wanted time away from the little ones and enjoyed the adult portion. Overall it was such a pleasant experience and we are so happy we chose the Omni for this trip!
