I had an amazing stay at this hotel - during the week to write and meet for work and over the weekend with my kids. They loved the pool, lazy river and waterslides. We even enjoyed a magical nighttime swim that was perfect in the desert heat. The rooms are large and well-appointed. I did have to move rooms because the pool area is super loud with amplified music all day and some of the night too. Once I got to a quieter room off of the golf course I was much happier and able to sleep and work. The restaurant is nothing fancy but we enjoyed it and found the service to be very good and attentive. Having stayed at the Hyatt Regency and La Quinta Resort in the area as well, this is definitely our top pick for a family friendly vacation in the area.
Stay away, disgusting, rat in room, food poisoning, personnel shortage and dirty rooms and pool! Take your money and run

Horrible, Stay Away at All Costs, Shortage of Personnel!
We have stayed here over 10 times before and never had any major issues. We convinced 5 couples to bring their kids here for the weekend. Let’s just say our entire group was so beyond disappointed we made them switch over from the JW Marriott to this place. It seriously was a dump in comparison.
The Omni has gone Downhill majorly in last 12 months! We came last July during covid and did not encounter the issues we encountered this time.
The biggest issue for us was lack of personnel. No one answers the front desk. Never had I had to leave voicemail for the front desk at any hotel before, let alone a resort, but here they are so behind. Took almost 3 hours to deliver me a pack and play. Our room was filthy. A mouse ran out the moment we opened our balcony door. No one to talk to. Everyone always so busy.
After checkout we decided to stay at the pool and we got food poisoning and all threw up (5 of us). Try to get help. No one to help. Everyone behind. All the servers are kids on summer break. There were a lot of rowdy and trashy guests this weekend (fights breaking out left snd right, and someone threatened my child to the point where even one of the teeenage staff members told me to avoid the Splashtopia side because there were some crazy guests on that side).
Dirty, deferred maintenance, no service, personnel shortage, no towels, food poisoning, the works to avoid! The water is also so hot snd disgustingly dirty with so many guests. You would think they would keep the water cooler in 110 degree outside temps. Not at all. We got cabanas 2 days in a row and they were a waste. Terrible all around. We are never coming back to this hotel! Stay away and go to the Jw Marriott or the Hyatt Indian Wells. This place has gone from a 9 to a 4 in just a few months…
