Wonderful small resort with a laid back vibe

This resort is a little older but VERY clean and very friendly. The rooms are a good size and the beds and pillows are really comfortable. The beach is wonderful - lots of chairs and palapas! The wait staff is always there to serve- with a smile. Bring your own beverage container - the ice lasts longer! We ate at both the Mexican and Italian restaurants and although both were good we liked the venue and food in the Mexican. Don’t forget to make your reservation a day in advance. The Hacienda buffet restaurant always has something for everyone and once again, the food is very good and the wait staff are very attentive and happy to help. We will be back.

Nice, comfortable early style resort. Not a huge monstrosity so getting a lounge spot was easy. Beach was awesome and good for families. Buffet was solid and always found something decent to eat. Dos Equis cerveza was cold. Beach bar margaritas tasty as well. Service was great. Shout out to Victor, Carlos and Salvador for looking after us and making sure we were never hungry or thirsty. Location was good. A quick cab to Bucerias for some variety. Good walkways and bike paths as well for walking or running. A nice break from the Canadian cold.
