We recently stayed at Samba Vallarta for a return visit, and had another really positive experience overall, especially as a family traveling with young kids. Location The location worked well for us, with easy access to both the beach and resort amenities. Everything felt close and manageable, which is ideal when you’re juggling little ones. Pools The pool setup is a big win for families. There is poolside service, which makes longer pool days much easier, and the pools themselves are shallow enough for younger kids to safely enjoy. Entry and exit points are simple and accessible, so no awkward lifting in and out. It felt very family-oriented and relaxed. Family Atmosphere This is definitely a smaller resort, which we appreciated. It never felt overwhelming or crowded, and being able to move easily between the beach and pools made our days simple and enjoyable. Food The food was decent with a solid selection. We especially appreciated the availability of fresh fruit and vegetables, including steamed options, and reliable protein choices (fish, beef, pork, and chicken) at every lunch and dinner. The Italian restaurant was excellent and a standout meal for us. That said, we would have loved to see a bit more selection specifically geared toward younger kids. The later meal times can also be tricky when traveling with little ones on earlier schedules. Hotel Condition The resort is a bit older, but it’s clear that it’s well cared for. We saw maintenance staff working daily, painting door frames, touching up walls, and keeping things in good shape. That ongoing upkeep really shows. Staff The staff truly stood out. They were warm, attentive, and even remembered us from our previous visit, which made this return stay feel extra personal and welcoming. Rafael was extremely helpful to speak with over chat for any questions or concerns. Photographer The on-site photographer was kind, easy to work with, and very reasonably process Entertainment Entertainment was enjoyable overall. The outdoor movies were a fun touch (though they started a bit late for little ones), and we really enjoyed the fire show, it was definitely a highlight of the trip. Suggestions for Improvement A few small changes could make a great stay even better: * Provide an overview map at check-in * Share the entertainment schedule upon arrival * Offer pack-and-play options for toddlers (the cribs are quite shallow)

We just finished our trip and it was amazing, oniver at the Mexican restaurant was a doll. It was our daughter’s birthday and he made it so special. Every work was great and the beach was beautiful and the food was amazing . We will def be back

My wife and I recently spent 10 wonderful days at this hotel, and our experience was really memorable. The service always was excellent. A special thank you to Leonor, our housekeeper, whose service was excellent. The reception staff, led by Carmen, were always attentive and ready to help with anything we needed. We also greatly appreciated Juan at the Mexican restaurant, whose hospitality and friendly personality added a special touch to our dining experiences. Too many to remember and to mention, many thanks to the great and friendly staff at the restaurants. The food was another highlight, there was always a great variety and the quality was consistently very good. We also enjoyed how clean and well-maintained everything was, from the common areas to the beautiful gardens. What made this stay very especial was the welcoming atmosphere, where local culture blends naturally with that of Canadian guests, creating a friendly environment. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be returning.
