Emma was very helpful and made our beds very well and left our room very clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Samba Vallarta. The staff were the shining stars of the vacation. From service staff such as Jose and Genaro to the doorman Guadalupe, to Carmen and the young gentleman lending out towels and boogie boards, to the activity leaders and kids club workers, all were extremely kind, professional, talkative and helpful!! The resort itself was older and reflective of the cost, with simple but clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The pool was great and the beach was awesome! The majority of the guests were families on summer vacation from within Mexico, which made it feel unlike a typical resort with mostly English speakers from North America. Lastly the food was excellent. There was always a variety of authentic Mexican offerings at the buffet, which is exactly what we were looking for. The two restaurants were also very good and we went to each of them twice. We chose to tip the wait staff, though there was never any pressure to do so, and the service didn't change wether you did or didn't. Overall it was a very memorable trip for my family and we are keen to go again! If you are looking for an affordable trip and aren't fussy about an older resort it's definitely a great choice!

Everything was good and nice, specially the attention of the Italian dinner crew, Ricardo, Nain and Alejandro were magnificent hosts.

Friendly staff and good food. Emma was very nice and did an awesome job with the rooms. Waiters and waitresses were very fun too.

Can’t say when I went or my experience … because our family trip of 14 was suddenly not confirmed two days before arrival. (We called) Even though we paid a deposit and had confirmations since March.. they didn’t have our rooms. So beware if it’s the busy season and they want to sell your rooms for more with no notice.
