Waste of money.

We just returned and had an unpleasant experience. Very poor service around pool. Our kids were extremely bored - ages 3-9. We met a mom who fell on their very slippery bridges at the pool and needed stitches on her face. The manager treated her very poorly. The power kept going off in our room leaving us in the dark with young children during the evening! So dangerous. The AC only worked 30'percent of the time due to the power always going out. They never gave you water in your room. You had to pay 300 pesos for a bottle of water which is ridiculous. The water in the tub and shower was brown and I dared not to give my kids a bath. When we left the resort our kids had to use the washroom and we were 13 minutes late for our taxi at the front. The very rude and unhelpful bellboys told us we were going to be charged 100 extra pesos for this.?? We said we will get a new taxi then if this is the case and they yelled at us in front of our young children. The pool was not as warm as most heated pool resorts. Half the chairs did not have cushions around the pool. We had to get up at 6am to reserve chairs and who wants to do this on vacation!! So many other resorts have systems you reserve the day before which means no setting alarms to get a chair. The towel cards are horrible!!! Wo to children towels get wet and they don't only allow you one towel for the entire day. My 5 year old had to use a soaking towel all day! If you lost your towels then they charged you 500 pesos to get a new one. What a horrible system with kids. We were stressed all the time trying to count our towels and keep them dry to use over and over again. The resort shows are very poor quality and very late at night so my kids were so exhausted as they wanted to go to the circus and comedy show. We have stayed at dozens of resorts in Mexico and the shows here were the worst we have ever seen. Not worth keeping your kids up for. There are no options for treats like popsicles, cookies or icecream for the kids which made my kids so sad. There are so many nicer resorts that treat you so much better. Would not recommend!!!

A really nice resort. The staff is wondeful, and very helpful. The rooms are nice and the beds are great especially the comforters. I would especially like to compliment Eduardo, our waiter at the restaurant on the beach. Each night he deliver superb service and attention to detail. Made the most amazing coffee specials complete with fire effects. Thank you so much for your service, we certainly appreciated the wonderful time we spent at this resort.
