Being my first time to Puerto Vallarta, I did not know what to expect of the city or the accommodations. The resort came recommended by some friends who had stayed there multiple times previously. After a 30-40 min ride from the airport, we passed through the Zona Romántica and arrived at our private resort, tucked into a small bay. We were immediately greeted and assisted in checking in, and walked over to the Club tour to our where our room was located. Our room had a fantastic view at all times of the day. The room was spacious and well appointed, with double sinks and a large shower, and plenty of storage around for clothes and our luggage. And a well stocked mini fridge. Our room attendant was lovely as well and did a great job keeping our room clean on a daily basis. The only issue (one evening) was loud music coming from Hyghlightz which made it difficult to sleep that night. We made use of the adult pool and adjacent beach every day. We never had trouble finding a recliner under an umbrella, and staff from the closest bar (Tortugas) frequently checked in if we wanted drinks or water. Our regular bartender, Orlando, took time to get to know us and make speciality drinks for us as well. And provided waters whenever we needed. We tried several of the dining options (Blaze, Vivaz, Casa Grande, Hyghlightz, and Tamari) and we had no complaints. Blaze was particularly great for breakfast and lunch (though a bit hot), and Vivaz had a perfect selection for breakfast time. The sushi and entrees at Tamari were flavorful and fresh. Overall, this was a really great resort set in a fantastic location that's hard to beat. A private beach, isolated enough from the city but still only a 5-10 minute Uber ride away if you want to go. Staff were friendly and helpful everywhere, and consistently willing to help in any way possible. We will absolutely be back in the near future!

We picked this place due to the calm water that is hard to find in this area. The hotel was very nice. Clean rooms, but a little tired and need an upgrade. Service was great, the dinner restaurants were very good. The overall complaint is the buffet was average, and wish they had more entertainment. Kids club was great for the kids.

Hotel and rooms need to be update furniture is old and food is good but not great, service is exelente! coffe shop and Sports Bar need better AC

It was amazing! The staff, location, food and drinks were truly all five star worthy. Especially Israel, and Christian, their service was exceptional! They even included a discounted rate for us to have a swim up room, and that was a game changer for us!

We had an excellent stay. As a family of 5, we had two connecting club rooms. We rented 2 cabanas every day. Alejandro and Joel did an amazing job. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Capitán José Luis provided exceptional dinner service at Blaze. The weather and ocean were absolute perfection. This is a very special resort.
