Fantastic Spot for a Wedding

About 2 years ago, me and my fiancée decided to book our wedding at this resort and having been using trip advisor over that time to monitor how the resort has been performing since being transitioned into world of Hyatt. I will break my review into two parts. One about the wedding and the second about the resort itself. Wedding: the wedding was a 5 out of 5 experience. Our wedding coordinator was Rossy and she and her team did a fantastic job making the day flawless. This resort does at least 1 wedding per day and it’s clear they are professionals at the process. They really captured our vision of how we wanted the day. Simple but customized to meet our needs. We had our wedding at the pier and reception/cocktail at the main plaza. I would highly recommend this setting as it makes it the most intimate experience for all. The DJ was very skilled as well and captured the vibe of the crowd very well. He played all our requested songs and steered clear of styles of music we requested. Flowers were beautiful. All guests were happy and the only big issue we saw was that the bar ran out of water near the end of the night and didn’t seem to do anything to resupply. But flawless otherwise Resort: overall, we were very happy with the resort. 4 out of 5 stars on this end. There were a ton of Food and drink options at anytime of the day and the food was generally high quality but not exactly elevated cuisine. I have a high standard for food so I was not impressed a ton of times but my wedding guests were happy overall which is what mattered. Bar tenders were generally very quick with drinks but as previous reviews mentioned some are not super enthusiastic and can appear rude at times. They are very generous with the pours and have a lot of tasty drinks. We were big fans of the lobby bar as a solid late night go to. Pools and beach area were awesome. Clear and clean water perfect for swimming and cooling off. On the list of things I didn’t like, some folks at the resort are pretty aggressive about upselling the spa and additional resort events like beach dinners. we got asked 2-3 times per day and it was a bit much for my liking. Rooms were clean and we got a free upgrade with our wedding which was awesome. Having Two full bathrooms was great. Overall, very glad we had our wedding at this resort. They are pros and looking forward to trying out another Hyatt inclusive in the future!
