Underwhelmed and a little grossed out.

We were Club level 18+, this was an extra $388 at check in, but we got our own butler Gabriel ( who we didn’t really use but it was nice to have him incase we had any issues) and full access to all the pools, bars, private club member beach, and canopy beds by the pool. Overall, the extra almost $400 wasn’t totally worth it- but it had its benefits. Food- the food was straight up just not good. Every-time we ate, either my partner or I had diarrhea and an intense stomach pain on a daily basis. I will say the deserts are good depending on your taste. I liked them, my partner did not. Room service- another perk of the extra $400 we spent at check in was unlimited 24 hr room service. But don’t waste your time, it usually took an hour to arrive for soggy pizza or an overcooked or undercooked burger. Cleanliness- our room was a little dirty when we arrived but we didn’t expect 5* cleaning due to the resort being open all year round and our room being upgraded last minute. Housekeeping was very kind, but not very thorough- never got our sheets changed although we requested it twice. Rodents- on our last night all we heard during the night was rats in our room service cubby and in the ceiling ( I have many videos to confirm ) and this really left a sour taste in my mouth and a sleepless night before an early flight. Overall the resort didn’t live up to the 5 star reviews, but Gabriel our butler was great, and the beach and the pools were also great.

Our butler Arling was great. The pillows and bed are comfortable. Staff friendly and responsive..The towels are great, soft and huge. The beaches are the best. Excursions were good. Pools maintained well, and the towel people were accommodating. The drinks could be colder.
