We have had the absolute time of our lives, we found THE ABSOLUTE BEST BAR we an even better bartender! His name is Jorge from Bar Playa. Right on the beach, he makes the absolute greatest drinks for us and now we are familia! Thank you Jorge for an unforgettable experience ??

Our third time to Majestic Elegance, so we clearly like the place. Had Dario for our butler, and he is excellent. A solid 6.5 out of 5. Helped with all needs onsite and also helped arrange for some health needs that needed attention offsite. Pros: - Beds are amazingly comfortable - Coffee and sandwiches in the Club Lounge - The Steakhouse; Rafaela is a most gracious host, and her attitude spreads to all the servers. Easily the best restaurant there. Cons: - The pillows are uncomfortable and led to some nasty stiff necks - The Italian restaurant ; the food seems thrown together with absolutely no care or pride - Same for Room Service; used to be fine, but now it’s just poor

The Majestic Elegance is next level for service. Staff are sincerely helpful and so pleasant. The grounds are beautiful. Very well maintained. The food is very good - lots of variety and all fresh. The Club for adults only is ideal for couples. A lovely, quiet pool and guest rooms. Our butler, Santiago, was fantastic! He greeted us when we checked in and escorted us to our room. We saw him daily when he asked how we were and if he could help us, and he sent us a text every evening about the next day’s activities. He treated us to a lovely surprise midweek with champagne, balloons and flowers to celebrate our anniversary. We can’t say enough about his excellent service - right to the very last minute when he saw us off, even loading our luggage onto the shuttle himself! Treat yourself to a stay here and ask for Santiago!

Another awesome 11 days at our most favorite resort! The facilities and food were excellent. (If we were served something that did not please us we simply ordered something else - no problem.) The selection and variety at the main buffet was amazing. But the most impressive thing about this vacation paradise was the entire staff. From the ever-present management team members to the grounds and other service staff everyone was pleasant, smiling and eager to please. Specific staff worth noting are butler Arling, chief bartender Maxima and restaurant mgr/chief Orlando. Others are Sondra and Roberto in the lobby bar; Felix, Santa, Angelina, Rosa, Martha, Marilania at the club bars Housekeeper Anna, towel concierge Joel. Other Butlers Dario, Gabriel. Restaurant Yaqui. Buffet table set-up Arus. Restaurant hostess Rafiella (sp?) Steakhouse bartender Reyson. Quite an accomplishment for a value oriented resort.

I had an amazing time at Majestic Elegance. One of my new favorites in the DR. The entertainment team was one of the best, Raphael was always prepared and had a great team with him including Stephanie, La Muneca, Tutti Frutti and Melasa. The bar teams were another that made our experience amazing! Anna Maria and Marta in the Lobby Patio Bar. Alexander, Erick, Belnadel, Luis Miguel and Marta in the Palapa Bar. In the Piano Bar, Maria, Laider and Martha Cortes. And the Pool Bar team of Victor, Odelio, Martha, Salome, Martha, J.D. and Manuel. All were amazing and extremely personable and made our time the best! The restaurants all had amazing food and a great team that assured we were taken care of during our stay. To name a few, Pedro Milagro, Rigoberto, Jose, Angelo, Jorlin, and all others whose names we did not get. Thank you Majestic for a wonderful location and team!
