Had a nice time but just OK

A lovely hotel and is all inclusive with brand drinks. Rooms were lovely ,spacious and always very clean. The majority of the staff was nice and friendly , especially the woman on the gin bar who worked in the evening and the lovely lady who cleaned our room. The beach was nice although very rocky. Food could have been better I expected better. The restaurants were average. Good to have a 24 hour room service. The main issue was breakfast unable to eat the food at the boathouse due to flies constantly being around the food and landing on food. There was too many flies on food and flying around when trying to eat. On arrival wait for rooms to be sorted out as the rooms we booked had been allocated out . We had no welcome drinks and want offered a drink . It was very stressful after a 9 hour flight to deal with. Customer service was quite poor at that point with our grandson who had special needs and disabilities. Family entertainment in the evening was extremely poor. The hotel caters for mainly adults. The prestige club was quite annoying ( old style. Timeshare) very misleading and wasting over an hour of your holiday by trying to sell their products . Issued with their bank machines unable to get money for tips that made staff unhappy. Language barrier was very difficult as the major of staff did not understand any English at all . I don’t expect the English language to be spoken but in a 5 star hotel there needs to be some form of communication, Despite the issues my family and I loved being together and enjoyed our holiday . This particular hotel is more for adults not really for families. From my experience this is not a five star hotel from my many years of staying in five star hotels

We recommend this amazing place. A great looking set up that's really clean and spacious. Never had an issue with any food or drink and they have plenty choice. The steaks at JWB are fabulous and cooked to perfection. My wife's favourite was the Boathouse buffet. The staff at pool side are none stop fun and laughter and kept us entertained from sunrise to sunset and beyond. They are always arranging something funny!! We really enjoyed Coca Cola Willie and Justin Bieber. They are the funniest guys ever and we will definitely be returning for more of the fun that this place has to offer. Many thanks for our faultless stay
