Great trip for younger kids

We spent 7 nights in a swim up connecting suite with children ages 8 and 5. The staff really makes this place - shoutout Rainieri! He was, hands down, the best butler we’ve had at any of the Prestige resorts. He took care of everything and anything we needed quickly and was so kind. The waterpark staff were excellent- waiters and lifeguards included. Ramon and the bartender at the Prestige beach went above and beyond each day we spent time there. The rooms were always very clean and well stocked, housekeeping was excellent. We did miss having the bounce house and activities in the plaza that were there our last visit. The rooms could use some updating and food could be better (plenty of kids choices) but other than that, perfect!

The worst resort ever April 16th Ordered dinner through room service and 1.5 hours later we had to call to find out where the order was. After a long wait we received only two out of the seven food items we ordered. We were told the kitchen does not have food because they were busy because of the storm. someone from the room service team had the courage to tell me when I asked them how come no one called me to let me know so I don’t have the kids wait, he said we tried calling. I told him we were in the room and never left and then he said the phones have problems so the calls could not get through and this happens here in the resort ( I do not believe him). He then said that there is a lot of rain so they are busy and since I called theCustomer service manager they willPrepare the food for me. Told him kindly I don’t want anything from them. Had to take two little girls out in the middle of a rain storm on 4/16 and 7:30 pm to get them dinner in one of the restaurants as we had no other option to feed them since room service ran out of food. Restaurant staff are so unaware, you can ask them 10 times for silverware and they will forget it. The Italian restaurant food was beyond horrible and lacked any taste Were told to go to the theater for the 7 pm to see the character show and found out that there was no show period at 7 pm. Were told restaurants were open that were closed and the ones that we were told were closed were open. No umbrellas in the room. Went to the concierge and asked for umbrella and was rudely told it’s in the room. I walked from building 8 by the ocean to front desk area during a storm on 4/16 and I told them it’s notin the room. I asked to pick one up and was told go back to the room and we will send it. I asked to kindly give to me here since it’s raining sideways and the answer was NO we will only deliver it to the room. I asked again to please just deliver it here so I won’t get more wet. They said no. I wanna say the concierge name was Joseph but I am not 100% sure The plumping closet next to room 8306 ( on the third floor) opens as the lock on it does not work and you can see the pipes running up and down, thank god that no kid fell three levels in that shaft where the door does does not lock in a kids resort mind you. Kids resort does not have any kids cutlery or kids cup. None of the staff can answer basic questions Floor in the room was so dirty. My kids ran from the shower to the bed and you can see their feet mark on the bed sheet in all black. We did not allow them to walk barefoot after that. Trash behind the head board Toilet leaks on the floor and bathroom smells of sewer When you shower water temperatures goes from Hot to freezing and back to boiling Staff are rude and make you feel horrible that you even spoke with them
