We got the right butler

The resort is beautiful; our butler, Dawar, made the vacation unforgettable. His sense of humor, kindness, and dedication to his craft make us want to return more than any other resort we have been to. The food also made this vacation wonderful the highlights were the Steak house, Wok and the Mamma Fornos. The staff went out of there way to make sure we were happy it was really hard to leave.

As a lifetime titanium elite member of Marriott we usually try to stay at one of their properties. The Sanctuary at Cap Cana popped up. Absolutely thrilled from the time we pulled up to front of lobby. Someone waiting for us with the most delicious welcome drink. I’ll need to find out what it was. Stunning property! Staff very welcoming for start to finish. Very warm, friendly and helpful in any way they can. What prompted this review is we are getting ready to head back. It dawned on me I never did my review. I am one that appreciates reviews when traveling which is why I write them. While adults only, I wish we could bring our family. Very safe environment with daily activities if you want to partake. Food is amazing! So many different options. All restaurants were delicious. Not one complaint for us. We did upgrade ourselves to include a butler to help with things we needed. We were very fortunate to have Camacho. What a lovely man. He was so kind and professional. He couldn’t do enough for us. Checked up on us at pool and or beach daily. So many different areas and pools to hangout in. If you don’t like to sit by main pool you can use another one which most of the time was a private pool. For you beach lovers like myself. The beach was beautiful. Lots of palms and always a cool breeze. Only negative, which they try to prevent is the water. It’s not the crystal, clear blue water. It’s murky due to barriers they have to prevent the seaweed. It didn’t stop people from going in. I went in one day when it seemed to clear a bit. Pool is next to beach. As a beach person, water is important to me. In this case it honestly didn’t bother me because of the gorgeous beach and relaxation. Nightly entertainment. A disco . Don’t let disco scare you. Our room was fairly close and was not disruptive to us at all. Property is respectful to their guests. No wild partiers. Now our shout outs. We would really appreciate management to acknowledge each one. Camacho, our butler. Ginette, hostess for restaurants. A few of our servers by pool and restaurants. Juan, super Jeri (Yuri), Dario, Jose (black Dolphin), Eduardo, Blue Marlin. Happy Boy, who truly is a happy boy. Last, but not least my husband’s favorite, mi amor as he called her. Real name is Glory. Greeted us every morning with a smile that can light up a dark room. Has his plate ready with his favorites.
