Wonderful Relaxing All Inclusive

We spent several nights at the Sanctuary Cap Cana and loved the experience. The highlights were the amazing service from the team, good quality food offering especially from an all-inclusive” and a nice spa experience. As with most properties, the Sanctuary Cap Cana was spread out. We booked a Premium Luxury Ocean Front Junior Suite which was amazing. When we got to the resort, they had kindly upgraded us to the next level which was a Villa. Generally I would gladly accept an upgrade, however, bear in mind, the resort is spread out and the Villas and Castle suites are much farther from the main areas of the resort. The Villas do offer more privacy so I guess this is subject to personal preference. The Beach, The Pool – The beach frontage was small. The chairs were so tightly packed you felt like you were in Miami South Beach during peak summer months. The pool was not that much better but it was more spaced out and you could still find decent spots depending on which pool you picked. The usual early morning pool chair hogs abounded in this resort so something to be aware of. There were also cabanas which were free and these were the first to be snatched up early by the usual pool chair hogs. The Food – Our favorite restaurants were Blue Marlin for lunch – so you can enjoy the view, Casa Bella for the amazing buffet variety and I loved how the food was served to you from behind the buffet counter rather than allowing people to serve themselves. The Steakhouse was also a favorite for dinner. We loved Sanctuary Town which was a short walk opposite the main lobby. It had that small village feel within the resort. Set in a “village square” were the little eateries. It’s opened from 6pm and was great for a casual date night. Our favorites were Mama’s Forno and Pasta. The burrata pizza was one of our favorites. Thank you for the recommendation Dawar (our amazing butler). Another favorite was the Sweet House which was our daily post dinner hang out for ice cream and desserts. Sushi Town might look cool but I would not recommend. The service and team at Sanctuary Cap Cana were excellent. We had a fantastic and organized butler in Dawar. We also wanted to acknowledge the amazing and friendly service we received from Stephy who we saw at Blue Marlin and Casa Bella, and always greeted us her a smile and the wonderful service and care from Ginette and Glory.

This place is simple excellent. I went with my girl friends in early May 2024 and the whole stay was amazing, from the room and the amazing view, to the delicious food, the perfect relaxed chill ambiance, the stunning architecture, but above all, the service. Our butler Frank went above and beyond to cover our every single need, treat us like royalty and at the same time family, he was the highlight of the trip! Also "Happy boy" by the pool/beach was always available to get us drinks, towels and a few good laughs. The staf at the restaurants were all warm and helpful. I'm definitely coming back, I think it will be the perfect place for a couples or adult family trip.
