Great hotel but noise level of music ruined it.

We loved the secrets hotel and beautiful green lush property. The hotel and grounds were very clean. Food options were great. The beach was awesome , soft white sand. The vendors bothering you every 5 mins sucked. Some resort staff friendly, some not, pretend they don't understand you. What ruined it for us was the chair game and loud music, all day and night. Ridiculous, no chairs by 8.00am . Not enough chairs at beach. People save them and sometimes don't even come back. The music in main pool was cranked and distorted so loud at times couldn't even talk to people. We could not take it so stayed down at beach were you could still here it. Even at the quiet pool you could hear the blaring music. As well only a few seat options as the cabanas you had to pay for. We sat on ground. The music in the shows at night were too loud as well . To bad,as it distorted singers amazing voices. Had to leave, only watched 2 shows. The night club was not air conditioned and again the music was way to loud. Couldn't hear what anyone was saying . Only stayed for 15 mins. Way to loud and hot. Drinks were not great. Pre mixed slushy style. Did not seem like they had alcohol in them. No fresh fruit drinks like with pineapple strawberries etc. Pina colads , strawberry daquris were the worst. Our room was ocean view looking out to pools. Room was fine and clean. But again could hear the music from pool during day and nightclub until 2.00am. No napping. If you are looking for quiet , relaxing vacation this is not the place. Noise noise noise everywhere. Which is really too bad as the hotel, beach, service and food were great.
LOST RING

LOST RING We arrived at the resort in the early evening of the 2nd Dec. As a hanger on from COVID we were provided with Hand Gel and then a cool towel to refresh from our journey. Unexpedly we were then ushered into the Preferred Lounge to check in. Although this was quite comfortable it was totally unexpected. Apparently, had we downloaded one of many APPS we would have known about this. Unfortunately the hand gel must have lubricated my ring and on the way from check in to our room it slid off my finger. I believe that another guest has now found it and I want to kindly plead for them to hand it in. The ring is very precious to me - it was my mothers and before her it was my grand mothers. This is our first trip on Holiday without my Mum and it was the last place we brought her on holiday - and thats why we have come back. I am will willing pay a reward for its safe return and am hoping for its return while we are still here. Unfortunately in this size of resort allthough the staff try their very best to please, if there is something which is really important to you, you really need to make a continued fuss to get it to happen. The resort provide an APP which contains lots of useful information on activities, restaurants etc. We noted that this would probably be the best place to advertise our loss but it took two days for the management to accept a small addition to the "Sundial" paper. Again, the previous time we arrived there were guest information packs which have now been superceded by the APP. This is really poor when you want to just leave your device behind. Information about restaurants etc can be only found on the APP, which like their handling of my missing ring has been very frustrating. The food and drink on the whole has been fine and their management of food allergies and intollerances is second to none. The entertainment is varied and the staff all work hard in the heat to please.
