Kerry, fighter, big mama, have been super entraining during our stay. The hotel is beautiful and very spacious. A perfect escape for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting.

This was a tough one. We were really looking forward to this resort. First impressions blew us away. The pool and grounds and rooms were beautiful. I’ve never been to a resort that offered so much to do. It is very large and has the usual restaurants and bars, but also includes a Boulevard area. On the boulevard, there are shops and restaurants and bars as well as a casino, a theater that looks like something made for professional plays, numerous outdoor areas, the best gym I’ve ever seen at a resort and even an escape room and ax throwing. The problem is the food was horrendous with the exception of some of the fish dishes. Buffets were the same every day and most items were incredibly bad quality. Lots of problems at the reservation restaurants as well. There is also a big language barrier and the service is extremely slow, and a few servers were rude. We stayed in the unique section which had some private areas and its own beach, but very little service walking around. If you wanted to drink, you had to go to the bar for the most part. And there is no pool bar. Our room is very nice, but we literally did not have hot water all week and complained several times. We would let the shower run for 20 minutes and you could still drink it. It was barely lukewarm. With preferred, you are supposed to get a free hydrotherapy session which we did however they don’t have towels and the steam room, dry sauna, and cold shower areas are extra cost. ridiculous. There are lots of things to do for kids. They have a large waterslide area surrounded by a teen club arcade and bowling alley so this is probably a good resort for families and younger adults but definitely not for middle aged. We were a group of six in our mid to late 50s. If you’re a smoker, this place is for you. People were smoking cigars in the pool and cigarettes everywhere. Very little enforcement of any rules and their lobby bar gets very rowdy as it is centralized and small. By the end of the week, we couldn’t wait to leave. pluses are the beaches very nice as well as the rooms Pools and grounds and the boulevard area is awesome. We also had a butler named. Senel who is probably the best we’ve ever had and made our stay bearable. Again, on day one we thought this was going to end up being a favorite and by day six we couldn’t wait to get out of there. Too many negatives I’ll weighed some really good positives. if you decide to go, bring your walking shoes and really explore the place because there are areas that are hidden and pretty cool but definitely a family and young adult resort.

Scooby daddy had an amazing time with the people of Lopesan. Especially scooby he is amazing person very fun time the vibes are amazing!!

Although the resort is located on the nice beach, our stay was extremely disappointing by the conditions of the STARVING CATS on the property that throws in the garbage ENOURMOUS AMOUNT OF FOOD, leftovers from breakfast, lunch and dinner. The first evening when we arrived and came out from our room, we were met by EXTREMELY SKINNY CATS CRYING FOR HELP! We immediately got food and fed them. As we were continuing to walk around the property, we were met by more STARVING SKINNY CATS BEGGING FOR FOOD!!! It is truly a HEART BREAKING situation that is so EASY TO CORRECT with the food that is not only available BUT IS BEING THROWN IN THE GARBAGE instead of given to cats. The next morning I went to see several people, including Nelson Mateus, Cafeteria manager, Carlos, Guest relations manager, Victoria, Hairo, Luis to name a few. I respectfully asked them numerous time to start feeding the cats but NOTHING HAPPENED!!! I did NOT SEE any food given to cats and my wife and I continued to feed them. There was a family of cats next to our room, every morning the nursing mother cat was crying for help!!! She also was extremely SKINNY!!! And of course, we fed her, the kitten and the father cat who WAS LOUDLY CRYING AT NIGHT in the corridors and staircases of our building!!! After feeding this cat family for a couple of days with normal food from cafeteria they STOPPED CRYING and were happy!!! I wrote several emails asking for help to feed to cats but I was given a STANDARD "DON'T WORRY, EVERYTHING IS FINE" email. My wife and I travelled al over the world but we NEVER SAW SUCH SKINNY STARVING CATS, especially at the property where the food is AVAILABLE AND IS BEING THROWN AWAY !!!
