I have a confirmed booking at Lopesan Costa Bávaro for my upcoming stay from August 8th to August 15th. I reached out to their customer service team via email to request an upgrade to the Unique services for these dates. To my absolute surprise, the email support quoted me an extra €1000 for the upgrade. However, when checking the hotel’s official website for the exact same dates (August 8–15), the price difference to book the Unique room directly is only €220. Charging an extra €780 for an upgrade via email compared to their own public live rates is completely abusive, non-transparent, and unfair to paying guests. I have already shared the official website screenshots with their team, but this lack of consistency and price inflation is a huge red flag before even arriving at the resort. Management needs to review their pre-arrival customer service policies, as this creates a very poor and untrustworthy experience for future guests.

Our stay at Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The resort is stunning, beautifully maintained, with amazing pools, beach access, delicious food, and a truly luxurious atmosphere. Every detail made the experience feel relaxing and special. A special thank you to Oliver, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly stood out and made us feel so welcomed throughout our trip. Outstanding customer service like his is what makes people want to come back again and again. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable vacation in Punta Cana!

The place is beautiful and very clean. Lots of things to do if you want. Lots of chairs by the pool or the beach if you don’t. Lots of food variety- something for everyone’s tastes. We did the Unique package that came with our own Butler Jimmy. He was fabulous and even went out of his way on his own time to hunt down distilled water for my husband’s CPAP. He checked in several times without being overbearing. Highly recommend Jimmy. The only negative was several staff approaching us asking for personal google reviews. We had one gentleman ask us everyday at the pool starting on our first day. We didn’t even know what he did? Several wait staff also asked after dinners while handing you a QR code link. They get incentives for reviews so some actively pursue them instead of getting them organically. But even that certainly didn’t spoil our time there. It was a huge bang for the price.
