Stunning Resort, But Disorganized Experience Hotel Xcaret Mexico is absolutely beautiful—the grounds, architecture, and amenities are truly world-class and feel like a five-star luxury experience. Unfortunately, the actual stay was far less relaxing than expected. Despite being all-inclusive, everything required waiting in long lines—whether for concierge help, reservations, or basic guest services. The only way to book restaurants or excursions was in person, often after 20–30 minute waits, only to be told everything was already fully booked. It made the entire trip feel chaotic and frustrating rather than seamless. We also had issues with our upgraded River Jump Suite, including a ceiling leak that soaked clothes in our closet and later a strong sewer smell—both very disappointing at this price point. The one standout was Eduardo Cen, a concierge who went above and beyond to help us navigate the resort and secure reservations. He was the only staff member who made a real effort, and his support truly made a difference in salvaging parts of our trip. He deserves special recognition. Overall: A stunning property with incredible potential, but currently lacking the organization and service needed to deliver a truly relaxing experience.

We stayed at Hoteles Xcaret, Mexico for a business conference / vacation . We were blown away at the attentiveness of every staff member, benevolent nature of everyone, and the resort itself . Our stay was absolutely amazing with everything we wanted within reach. Connie and Andre’s were our personal butlers and assisted us with any questions or needs we had . Ignacio at La Playas restaurant , and Edner at Fuego made us feel like long time friends . Don’t forget Abraham on the Fuego rooftop. We cannot wait to come back.

I had my wedding at Hotel Xcaret on March 26th, and it was honestly the best experience of my life. We traveled with a group of 30 friends and family, and every single person had the most amazing time. Sharing such a special moment with everyone we love in a place like this made it truly unforgettable. This was actually my second time visiting the resort, and I fell in love with it all over again. The food is incredible — every restaurant we went to was absolutely delicious. Even when the resort was at full capacity, it never felt crowded or overwhelming. Everything is so well organized that you can just relax and enjoy your time. The beach is beautiful, the ocean is clean and perfect for swimming, and the rooms are spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. What makes this place so unique is that the hotel itself feels like art. Everywhere you look there are beautiful details, sculptures, and design elements that make the whole place feel special. Having our wedding here was truly the best decision we could have made. The staff treated us with so much care and kindness throughout the entire experience. Our wedding planner, Dasha, was absolutely outstanding and made everything feel effortless for us. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Hotel Xcaret created memories that we — and all our guests — will never forget. It is worth it a thousand times over, and we will absolutely be coming back.
