Back for the 12th time

Once again, we chose to return to the Barcelo after coming 12 times. We arrived on the 1st of December for one week and we are delighted to see that the consistency of service, food, quality, cleanliness and accommodations is still there. There have been a few improvements as well. The beach is sandy with no rocks and the wifi has improved. Staff, as usual is friendly and professional. The rooms are beautiful and clean and the grounds are very well kept. We have no issues whatsoever. We would like to thank Cesar Castellanos who we have know for several years. He has been very helpful and kind. He is doing an outstanding job at reception at the Maya Beach hotel. We would also like to thank Benito Garcia at the Riviera Hotel Italian restaurant, Josefina at le comedie (French) along with manager Erving Ayala who is doing an outstanding job. Many thanks to Anahi Valente (hostess) and Carlos Escobar at the maya beach Ranchon restaurant), chef Lucia Clemente, chef Hernan Guillen, waiter Josue Verdugo Morales also at the Ranchon. All the above mentioned staff have made our stay here at Barcelo a wonderful vacation making this the reason we keep coming back. We cannot thank them enough. We highly recommend this hotel. It has something to offer from adults only to kid friendly.
