10th Anniversary - great again!

We returned to Barcelo Maya Beach once again to celebrate our wedding anniversary—this time, our 10th—and as always, it was an exceptional experience. What never ceases to amaze us is how the resort looks exactly the same as it did a decade ago. Everything is so well maintained that there are no signs of aging or wear and tear. Kudos to the team for their outstanding upkeep! The staff continues to impress with their friendliness and professionalism. A special thank you goes to Ivan R. from the Maya Beach concierge team for his outstanding customer service. He went above and beyond to accommodate our every request—thank you, Ivan! Barcelo Maya Beach remains our go-to resort whenever we’re looking to relax and enjoy the Riviera Maya. It truly feels like home.
Well below a 5 star experience

I’ve stayed at multiple 5 star resorts and at $300 a night the food and accommodation was well below par. The staff was very kind. They took some time to resolve things. It’s a fantastic location and the beach and the gym are very nice. But for the price not up to par. The riviera is much better.
