Great experience at Boheme with our waiter Manuel. If you get a chance to visit the restaurant I would highly recommend Manuel.
TRS Yucatan - Riviera Maya Mexico

Staying at the TRS (Grand Palladium Hotels) has been an absolute dream holiday. For the first time staying in an adults only resort was amazing. With our youngest at 18 we saw it as an opportunity to trial adults only and this did nothing but amaze us. The rooms are luxurious with a butler at hand to serve the block of 30 suites, Alfredo, Bely, Julio have made reservations for us changed reservations for us and as with any holiday there are little hiccups but the butlers are on it straight away. Checking in was a relaxing delight with champagne. Will say though that they try to hard sell upgrades, which we did take as we wanted the spa (upgrade gave us 2 for 1 deals) entry to the VIP areas on the beach and at the infinity pool, tickets to the Chic dinner cabaret show, bingo night, my adult kids wanted to try lobster and a premium drink package which was then included. This upgrade cost us an extra £1000. Please weigh your options before upgrading to make sure the package is worth it. Turns out there was good deals on at the spa which cost less than the 2for 1, we didn’t come across any premium drinks, the kids tried lobster once and didn’t like it - but hey they tried it! The Chic Cabernet and the bingo night were good fun. We sampled many of the restaurants in this huge 4 resort complex and have enjoyed meals in all we tried. Our villa is a stones throw from Helios the breakfast and lunch buffet, this has a huge selection of different foods. Next to the restaurant is the 3 tier infinity pool over looking a rocky beach. It’s beautiful here. We spent every day bar 1 here when we did a day trip to the Cenator and Chichen Itza (worth doing, we arranged with our holiday operator) There are also activities you can do ie shooting and archery. Archery is a firm favourite of my husband and kids as it’s an activity they do annually at Centerparcs. I was a first timer but David went through all the dos and don’t with me and I managed to get some arrows in the target. Thanks David!! Family resorts in the grand palladium are White Sands, Colonial and Kantanah. All have pools, shops and restaurants. Everyone here at the TRS are very welcoming and I would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful 3rd visit

This was our third visit to TRS Yucatán, and we will definitely be returning. The positive details: Check-in with Aranza was quick and easy, we had a great location in villa 67 with the amazing Maggie as our butler, Gabriel and Carlos assisting. Susano was our housekeeper and did a fabulous job keeping our room clean and the fresh towels stocked. Cesar and Ana at Helios did a great job serving us at breakfast, even with the a/c not working properly. Shoutout to the gentleman at the crepe station who patiently made me a Nutella strawberry crepe each day (I didn’t catch his name). Cesar even brought us special pastries with a farewell message written on the plate in chocolate for our last breakfast. At no fault of the hotel, sargassum made the beach itself unusable. But we spent most days at the TRS beach area anyway just to sit near the waves and ocean breeze. There were only a couple other people there, so it was nice and quiet. Amay and Yuli at the TRS beach bar gave us great service, making sure to bring us water and drinks. The ice cream and snacks at the beach bar were perfect, as we didn’t eat lunch (just a big breakfast and dinner). Marco and Ruben served us well at Capricio Mexican night. We had the joy of being at Fernando’s table at La Boheme, and then again at El Gaucho, and again at Tentazione! Fernando truly made our dinners special, he was so kind. I was trying to decide between 2 entrees, and he told me to order both! (Both were delicious, by the way—short rib risotto and paparadelle bolognese.) He also remembered our drink orders after the first night. He is a gem! The coffee shop Piacere is new since our last visit, and we loved it. Mich did our check out with friendly efficiency. To give an honest review, I have to mention a few less-than-perfect things: the beach sargassum was previously mentioned, and it also made the saltwater pool unusable (which is our favorite pool). We’ve visited twice during the summer before this trip, but this was the first time Capriccio was closed for breakfast because of low occupancy. I was very disappointed, Capriccio is my fave breakfast place. There were some issues with the air conditioning TRS-wide one day, affecting our room and Helios. We used the gym twice, and it is consistently hot inside—please turn the a/c cooler! And lastly, the La Boheme menu changed, please bring back the baked Brie! We still dream about it, the baked Brie was phenomenal. We love this resort, recommend it, and will return
