Quiet Oasis in San Francisco

travel4free (Delta, Canada) on Jul 13, 2024

Great stay over 3 night short vacay. I appreciated getting into my room early and dropping off my luggage . We staid in room 2011 tower room. This had panoramic views of Nob Hill , downtown and Fishermans Wharf. This is our go to hotel and like the quiet location . We were able to take uber or the cable cars to all sites including Oracle Stadium. My favourite part of the hotel in the outdoor courtyard in the back of the hotel. Shout out to Cameron at check in for starting off our vacation on the right path.

Lovely Local Getaway

Sirena S (San Francisco Bay Area, California) on Jul 10, 2024

We had the Del Monte Suite on the 14th floor (14S) with a connecting room right across the hall (1410) that once combined, gave us a much larger private family suite experience. There was also a great feature of having a second set of private entry doors off of the main 14th floor hallway. The location provided Perfect viewing of the 4th of July Fireworks, as the corner windows of the living room area and the main bedroom area both had unobstructed views of Pier 39. The room service was unparalleled in overall experience and quality. My youngest was super excited how with every room service delivery (we utilized it multiple times per day) upon arriving, they would set our dining table so nice and proper with linen table cloths and full place settings. It felt like having a restaurant experience come to your suite. We also had dinner one night at the Tonga Room (located on floor T on the other side of the hotel) for families with young kids with special needs it was rather loud for them due to the live band, but the repeated rainfall from the ceiling with lightening and thunder effects quickly distracted thankfully. It was so appreciated that their kids menu offered French fries as not many higher end restaurants do anymore so we were so delighted to see that. The other highlight was the Valets, they were all incredibly nice and funny and super knowledgeable of the city. One of the kindest things was that they had wheelchair service ready at the valet for my daughter who had surgery in SF one morning during our stay. We were both very grateful because after leaving the surgery center we were worried about her trying to make the long walk from the lobby to get back to the tower suites elevator. She was personally wheeled into our suite and they were very kind about it. Our overall first time stay at the Fairmont impression was Phenomenal! We will Definitely return eager to try the other suites as well. Just a Perfect place to stay in the city. Thank you so much to the entire SF Fairmont staff as you all went above and beyond to make our family feel welcomed. 5 Star Ratings from us!
