Exceptional Service That Made Our Stay Truly Memorable
Eduardo S (Vancouver, Canada) on Mar 07, 2026
I just reviewed on google, and wanted to do it here too as we recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful Chateau in the mountains, and while everything about the property was wonderful, one person truly made our stay unforgettable. So we want to register very special thank you to AJ at the hotel front desk team. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with such genuine warmth, professionalism, and kindness. He went far beyond what anyone would normally expect — patiently helping us with recommendations, making sure every detail of our stay was perfect, and always greeting us with a smile whenever we passed through the lobby. What really stood out was how much he truly cared about the guests’ experience. His attention to detail, calm professionalism, and sincere hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and valued throughout our stay. It’s rare to meet someone who represents a hotel with such pride and dedication. Because of him, our visit became more than just a hotel stay — it became a memorable experience that we’ll always look back on fondly. Thank you again and again, AJ, for your outstanding service . The hotel is very lucky to have you, and we look forward to returning in the future!

Very impressed with our stay here. The room was excellent and all the staff we encountered anywhere in the property were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
A wonderful week in Whistler

A lovely stay in an ideal location. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. A few hiccups but nothing the hotel didn’t manage and sort, making for an ideal place to come back to after a day of skiing. The spa, apres and breakfast are all worth a mention too.
A Wonderful Return, With One Important Fix Needed
Megan D (Squamish, Canada) on Feb 09, 2026
It was such a treat to return to the Fairmont Chateau Whistler after a few years away. We were genuinely delighted with the renovated guest room and the thoughtful anticipation of guest needs. All the little details were there: mouthwash, a clothes steamer, plush robes and slippers, a yoga mat, a proper coffee station, a well-lit makeup mirror, and more. Having stayed at many luxury hotels recently in Europe and the Caribbean, returning to Fairmont truly felt like coming home. The staff are warm, engaging, helpful, and authentically welcoming. Housekeeping was thorough, and the food was consistently delicious. Overall, the experience was excellent and exactly what you hope for at this level. There is one important area that needs improvement. The stickers used for valet ski equipment are extremely difficult to remove. Unlike our experiences at other luxury properties, including the Four Seasons, these stickers caused real frustration. Between my husband and I, we spent multiple hours using razor blades, scissors, tools, and multiple solvents (some purchased specifically for this), and despite our efforts, we still could not fully remove the stickers or residue. Our skis, poles, and boots were also damaged in the process. I also overheard another guest expressing the same frustration, so this does not appear to be an isolated issue. For a property of this caliber, this is a fixable but important detail that would significantly improve the guest experience. We would absolutely return and hope this is addressed.
