Truly impeccable service & property. Always sad to check out of hotel. Staff in Fairmont Gold is like family! Would and could not imagine staying anywhere else. Awesome location with short scenic walk to the Village!

Our room was Late late late late for Check in . Our promised checkin time came and went . Spoke with front desk to no avail. had to call to harangue for our room to finally be available as asking at desk did no good. As for the positive, beautiful hotel, lovely bar and restaurant Whistler is a fantastic town to visit. Fairmont continue to disappoint what has happened ? It used to be top-of-the-line
Gorgeous spot

This hotel is gorgeous and in a perfect location to explore Whistler by foot and lift. We really enjoyed our time here and everything we got to see and do right outside the hotel. We highly recommend staying here. Try Earls and Araxi nearby for outstanding food.
Quiet, clean location, rates are becoming unreasonable.

Nice clean rooms and an excellent pool area. Portobello restaurant has a good range of items that are really nicely prepared. We have always liked that the location is mountainside, and away from the crowds of the main village.
Terrific hotel, fun stay

Terrific stay. First time to the Chateau. Everything was effortless. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. Originally booked a king but was given 2 queens at request. Staff were all friendly and accommodating - hospitality at its finest from the front desk, to housekeeping and all the other people we interacted with during the stay. Even the parking was easy. We self parked and were able to charge the car for free overnight. No need to fight for charging stations - there were more than enough. The resort itself is beautifully situated. There is a Farmers Market right outside the hotel and mini golf for family fun at the back. Within the hotel there are small but much appreciated perks. There is a water station in the lobby, free coffee near the elevators for early risers, and plenty of quiet sitting space throughout the hotel. I took my 2 small dogs and even they had a great time. There is a trail to the back of the hotel, and a small park nearby. The hotel is very pet friendly, with a little bed, bowls and snack ready for the dogs at checkin. We tried all 3 restaurants during the short stay, Wildflower (unfortunately not for dinner as we did not have reservations), Mallard, and Portobello. Food was very good at all 3. The hotel was I believe at capacity. It felt alive and vibrant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to future visits.
